The Balfour Declaration: Britain’s Original Sin

aa-Balfour declaration The infamous Balfour Declaration; a letter written in 1917 by Britain’s then-Foreign Secretary Lord Balfour to Baron Rothschild, a leader of the Zionist movement. In the letter, Balfour said the government viewed “with favour the establishment in Palestine of a “national home” for the Jewish people”, and would use its “best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object”. The effect of this declaration was best summed up …: “One nation solemnly promised to a second nation the country of a third.” It had no moral or legal right to do so … The Balfour Declaration, and its implementation by the British mandate in Palestine from 1920, culminated in Israel’s creation in 1948, and the wholesale dispossession of the Palestinian people. https://en-maktoob.news.yahoo.com/balfour-britains-original-sin-120736229.html

How the Palestinians Won

APTOPIX Mideast Israel Palestinians In Israel, significantly, there were no celebrations. The ever-so-right-wing government of Benjamin Netanyahu had once more over-egged its victory demands and ended up with another ceasefire as strong and as weak as the equally febrile truce that followed the 2009 Gaza war and the 2012 Gaza war. Physically, the Israelis had won; all those broken lives and all those smashed buildings and all that destroyed infrastructure do not suggest that the Palestinians have “prevailed” (to use a “Bushite” word). But strategically, the Palestinians have won. They are still in Gaza, Hamas is still in Gaza, and the coalition government of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas appears still to be a reality. Many times has it been said that the founders of the Israeli state faced a problem: a land called Palestine. They dealt with that problem coldly, ruthlessly and efficiently. But now their problem is the Palestinians. Their land may have been taken for Israel, their surviving land may be eaten up by Israeli colonies; but the wretched Palestinians simply won’t go away. And killing them in large numbers – especially in front of the world’s television cameras – is getting to be a bit much, even for those who still shake in their boots at the mere whisper of the calumny “anti-Semitism”. Israeli spokesmen even ended up comparing their actions to bloody Second World War RAF air raids, hardly a propaganda strike in the 21st century. http://www.counterpunch.org/2014/08/28/how-the-palestinians-won/

The Occupation is Forever

aa-Israel - apartheid wall very good one The ‘two-state solution’ is perennially misunderstood. The solution envisaged has nothing to do with a possible spatio-political division of Israel-Palestine and the ending of the Occupation. Rather it is a public relations device to quell the qualms of those bleeding hearts who find the current impasse unsavory, to deny the necessity (indeed the inevitability) of a ‘one-state solution’, and ultimately to ensure the continuation of the Occupation. http://www.counterpunch.org/2014/08/08/the-occupation-is-forever/#.U-Y3M1grVZ0.email

Wait a minute -- faceless, monolithic architecture. Barbed wire. Dark-haired people in drab garb huddling between or being marched between them. Except for the graffito, how could it possibly look more like a "Nazi holocaust" scene? Merely another indication that everything the Jews accuse Hitler of having done to them, they're doing to others right and left -- including routine gassing.

What the Hell is an Israeli-American?

aa-Israel - apartheid wall very good one Sixty six years of an occupying power posing as an inclusive democracy, military checkpoints and towers, stink spraying of villages, indiscriminate assassinations, never-ending harassment, crop destruction, home demolishment, illegal land stealing, murderous settlers, often ‘the scum of Europe’, blockades and on. Then there are the periodic bombings, massacres, all against the toothless baying of the United Nations, well past its use-by-date with armaments supplied by the same US of A, plus billions of taxpayer dollars donated into Israeli coffers in the form of military and financial aid, a fact most American citizens are oblivious to. All the time, the tap dancing circus known as the State Department with the likes of feckless Kerry, the evil neocon Nuland, and the President’s private Army, the CIA doing their thing in conjunction with the great deceivers, Mossad, orchestrated by the services of traitors like Tony Blair. What a scenario for continuous international criminality, now the accepted norm. http://mycatbirdseat.com/2014/08/67292-what-the-hell-is-an-israeli-american/

In an unprecedented expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people, and especially at this time with the Palestinians in Gaza, a group of over 100 prominent scholars and librarians have called for the boycott of Israeli academic institutions As reasons for their action, scholars cited the siege of Gaza and “the occupation and dispossession in East Jerusalem, the Naqab (Negev), and the West Bank; the construction of walls and fences around the Palestinian population, the curtailment of Palestinian freedom of movement and education, and the house demolitions”. They added that these violations have “very long histories and no apparent end in sight”. International crimes, all of them and for 60 odd years in a world that is supposed to be civilised? What a disgrace Academia is not immune to the penetration of Zionists as they make their march to seeing this country controlled as is the US, 80% of the Congress, 68% of the Senate, so far. Visits to Israel the norm, weekly, "educational" so they say. Christopher Pyne last week, Zed Seselja a month ago. That's how it works. The list is very long, believe me Yes, you are one of the 'industries' what is on the list. But anyone at the ANU would be aware of that, much more obvious however to the students in Melbourne. When one sees our own Foreign Minister stating that Palestine in NOT an 'occupied territory', as she fast-tracks visa applications from israel and changes Australia's humane stance at the UN to suit her "friends" and benefactors, then you know we are in real trouble. The Moral Universe Will Swing Palestine’s Way

Benjamin Netanyahu Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t the brightest bulb on the Hanukkah bush, but that doesn’t explain why he concluded that he could benefit himself and Israel by launching another assault on Gaza, the third in six years. From any remotely plausible point of view, this was a colossal mistake. It is as if resistance fighters in Gaza snookered him into it. Perhaps they did; they seem shrewd enough, and he seems dumb enough. But “the dead weight of history” and American politics played a role too. Israel has gotten away with murder – and worse — before; many times. Also Netanyahu knew that he could count on influential media in the United States and other enabling countries to mislead, misinform and generally promote the Israeli line. He knew too that he has 535 profiles in pusillanimity in his pocket – 100 in the Senate, and 435 more in the House. Therefore if it seems politically expedient, why wouldn’t he kill again? It was a win-win situation. He would benefit politically and every little bit helps advance the long-term goal he and many other Zionists share — ridding the land of Israel of all but its Jewish inhabitants. http://www.counterpunch.org/2014/08/01/the-moral-universe-will-swing-palestines-way/

Times of Israel Pulls Op-Ed: ‘When Genocide is Permissible’

Israelis watch bombings of Gaza from Sderot hillside The Times of Israel has deleted an article from their website titled “When Genocide is Permissible.” The article contends that the nature of war has changed and that “nothing, then, can be considered disproportionate when we are fighting for our very right to live.” It continues with a variety of outrageous claims about “the enemy,” none of which are backed up with sources or links. The writer probably got his information from the highly-accurate social media. http://antiwar.com/blog/2014/08/01/times-of-israel-pulls-op-ed-whengenocideispermissible/

Israel is Stealing and Murdering Its Way Through Palestine

aa-Zionism - quote on ethnic cleansing There is only one take on the current Israeli slaughter of Palestinians, which Netanyahu, the demonic Israeli leader, declares will be a “protracted campaign” this time. We are witnessing yet again Israeli war crimes that are supported by the Great Moral West that is so concerned about the deaths of 290 passengers on MH-17 that they are about to drive the world to a major war, while Palestinian casualties pile up so fast that they are out of date by the time you put the numbers in a column. So far more than 1,200 deaths, with injuries to 2,000 children, 1,170 women, and 257 elderly. Reading the Western media, watching Western TV, and listening to Western radio, one is left with the propaganda that the Palestinians are to blame for the Israeli attack on Gaza, just as one is left with the propaganda that the Malaysian airliner deaths are Russia’s fault. There is no evidence, but propaganda does not require evidence. Just repetition. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2014/07/29/israel-stealing-murdering-way-palestine-paul-craig-roberts/

The Palestinians’ Right to Self-Defense

aa-Gaza - building being blown up good one No nation, including any in the Muslim world, appears willing to intervene to protect the Palestinians. No world body, including the United Nations, appears willing or able to pressure Israel through sanctions to conform to the norms of international law. And the longer we in the world community fail to act, the worse the spiral of violence will become. Israel does not have the right to drop 1,000-pound iron fragmentation bombs on Gaza. It does not have the right to pound Gaza with heavy artillery and with shells lobbed from gunboats. It does not have the right to send in mechanized ground units or to target hospitals, schools and mosques, along with Gaza’s water and electrical systems. It does not have the right to displace over 100,000 people from their homes. The entire occupation, under which Israel has nearly complete control of the sea, the air and the borders of Gaza, is illegal. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article39216.htm#.U9JrCX3N0VY.email

Bringing West Bank Rules to Chicago’s West Madison Street

aa-Israel - democracy a myth Israel’s apologists spent more than a week building for their Wednesday Chicago rally in support of the mass slaughter of civilians in Gaza. Pro-Palestinian counter-protesters had a few scant days to organize a response – but met the Zionists body for body and chant for chant. And occupation rules played out in Chicago at the dueling rallies, just as they do across occupied Palestine. Chicago police gave Israel’s advocates prime real estate in the center of the street in front of the Israeli consulate, which is located in a massive, high-rent downtown highrise that also houses a major train station. Palestinian allies? Cordoned off on a tiny corner hundreds of feet away, walled in by police horses, bicycle cops and dozens of Chicago cops, Homeland Security operatives, private police and their allies. Chicago cops claimed they searched people attending the pro-Israel rally. They searched my camera bag when I entered. But they missed at least one Zionist supporter packing a handgun who was later detained after he bum-rushed pro-Palestine supporters. That pretty much sums up the state of settler colonial relations, both right here at home in the vaunted democracy of the United States and in its proxy settler state of Israel. http://www.counterpunch.org/2014/07/24/bringing-west-bank-rules-to-chicagos-west-madison-street/#.U9EVHI9N9UI.email

The Israelis sit in their tanks, or the drone operations centers, or fly high above Gaza in their U.S.-supplies warplanes, dropping the latest in U.S.-supplied high tech lethal munitions, and imagine themselves the heroes they read about on the Torah. The Palestinians huddle in their giant open-air prison, without an army, a navy, or an air force, and fight back with home-made rockets made out of plumbing supplies. Not since Thermopylae has the world seen such courage in the face of overwhelming odds. The Palestinians have balls the U.S. and Israel can only dream of, and the world will remember their courage against the tyrants. http://desertpeace.wordpress.com/2014/07/13/all-of-gaza-is-now-on-death-row/

Israel’s War on American Universities

Benjamin Netanyahu The banning of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Northeastern University in Boston on March 7, along with a university threat of disciplinary measures against some of its members, replicates sanctions being imposed against numerous student Palestinian rights groups across the country. The attacks, and the disturbingly similar forms of punishment, appear to be part of a coordinated effort by the Israeli government and the Israel lobby to blacklist all student groups that challenge the official Israeli narrative. Israel’s heavy-handed reaction to these campus organizations is symptomatic of its increasing isolation and concern about waning American support. The decades-long occupation and seizure of Palestinian land and the massive military assaults against a defenseless population in Gaza that has left hundreds dead, along with growing malnutrition among Palestinian children and enforced poverty, have alienated traditional supporters of Israel, including many young American Jews. Israel, at the same time, has turned into a pariah in the global community. If it were to become devoid of American support, which it largely buys with political campaign contributions funneled through groups such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Israel would be adrift. There are a growing number of banks and other companies, especially in the European Union, joining the boycott movement, which refuses to do business with Israeli concerns in the occupied territories. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking before AIPAC on March 4, surprisingly devoted much of his talk to attacking the nascent BDS movement, which he said stood for “Bigotry, Dishonesty and Shame.” He called for BDS supporters to “be treated exactly as we treat any anti-Semite or bigot.” He warned that “naive and ignorant” people are being recruited as “gullible fellow travelers” in an anti-Semitic campaign. http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/israels_war_on_american_universities_20140316

How Scarlett Johansson Got in the Business of Whitewashing Israeli War Crimes

aa-Scarlett Johansson The actress Scarlett Johansson is enamored with the Israeli-owned company SodaStream, and now she has the chance to show the world. Johansson, famous for her roles in movies like Her and Lost In Translation, inked a deal with SodaStream, the producer of home carbonation devices that create seltzer water or flavored sodas, on January 10 to become their first international spokesperson. Johansson’s newfound role will be prominently featured during the Super Bowl on February 2. TV viewers will see Johansson in a commercial for SodaStream touting the ability of consumers to make their own bubbled water. “I think it was really a natural partnership because I’ve been using SodaStream for five or six years, and it’s a product I found on my own because I like carbonated water but I hated the waste of bottles,” Johansson said in a preview video for the Super Bowl ad. “My favorite thing about SodaStream is that I don’t feel guilty when I enjoy beverages at home.” But activists and supporters of the Palestinian-led boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement targeting Israel are now trying to make Johansson feel guilty enough to break off the multiyear deal with the soda making company. The reason? SodaStream’s main factory is located in an illegal settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Johansson won’t hear the end of it until she’s no longer beautifying a war crime under the Geneva Convention. What was supposed to be a boon for the company, whose stock recently slid, has turned into a potential debacle as media coverage pointing to SodaStream’s location in the settlement of Mishor Adumim mounts. http://www.alternet.org/world/scarlett-johanssons-sodastream-deal-whitewashes-israeli-war-crimes?paging=off&current_page=1#bookmark

Palestinians Lose Again

aa-Palestians - good one Though the President of the United States is responsible for the management of the nation’s foreign policy he hardly has a free hand. Congress has increasingly been playing a role utilizing its power to legislate and also its control over the federal budget while various non-government constituencies within the United States have the ability to influence elections and media perceptions of the Administration. Those groups have inevitably become part of the process, which has also become more complicated due to the fact that foreign policy, which for the Founders consisted largely of protecting Americans overseas, has since the Second World War been conflated with national security and defense, making it increasingly difficult to identify and pursue clear cut interests. The result is that though foreign policy is not a major concern for most Americans at the White House level it consumes a disproportionate amount of time and energy while the instant news cycle and a reflexively hostile GOP make every possible misstep fraught with peril. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2013/12/04/palestinians-lose-again/#.UqCPxVGajZc.email

Netanyahu’s Peace Gesture is Meant to Extract Concessions

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu made what was presumably intended to sound like a historic peace gesture towards the Palestinians last week. He invited Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, to Jerusalem to address the Israeli parliament, echoing Menachem Begin’s invitation to Egypt’s president, Anwar Sadat, in 1977. That visit was the prelude to a peace agreement concluded the following year between Israel and Egypt. In reality, Mr Netanyahu’s offer was as hollow as his previous utterances about Palestinian statehood. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article36984.htm#.UpdQ1ibTq_Q.email

The Road to Nowhere — Kerry’s Mideast Journey

Here we go again, another round of Mideast peace talk kabuki. A process in which Washington, Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization hold intense talks over holding talks, a ritual as stylized as the traditional Japanese dance. In the end, it’s the same empty, cynical ritual, year after year. This past week, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has been leading the dance in the latest attempt to restart peace talks between Israel and the Mahmoud Abbas’ PLO. As of this writing, the talks appear off. But they may be on again just as quickly. It depends on how much Washington offers its feuding clients, Israel and the PLO. Watching this annual charade is both painful and exhausting. It makes cynics of the most idealistic hopers for Mideast peace. Israel holds all the cards, and knows it. Jewish settlements, roads, and security walls are roaring ahead, relentlessly gobbling up the occupied West Bank, Golan and their water resources. West Bank Palestinians are being crammed into future native Bantustans patterned after South Africa’s apartheid-era reservations for blacks. http://www.lewrockwell.com/2013/07/eric-margolis/mideast-peace-talks/

In effect, they stood up and confessed to serious Zio-fatigue. Puppet State America

by Paul Craig Roberts. The United States government and its subject peoples think of the U.S. as “the world’s only superpower.” But how is a country a superpower when its entire government and a majority of the subjects, especially those members of evangelical churches, grovel at the feet of the Israeli Prime Minister? How is a country a superpower when it lacks the power to determine its own foreign policy in the Middle East? Such a country is not a superpower. It is a puppet state. In the past few days we have witnessed, yet again, the “American superpower” groveling at Netanyahu’s feet. When Netanyahu decided to again murder the Palestinian women and children of Gaza, to further destroy what remains of the social infrastructure of the Gaza Ghetto, and to declare Israeli war crimes and Israeli crimes against humanity to be merely the exercise of “self-defense,” the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, the White House, and the U.S. media all promptly declared their support for Netanyahu’s crimes.

Jewish Domination? Occupation More Likely

The Palestinian solidarity movement stands at the edge of “polite society.” You can still belong to a Palestinian solidarity committee and not fear losing your job, unless you work in the very heart of the Zionist beast (e.g. the ADL or the U.S. Congress). Part of the reason that Palestinian solidarity activists have been largely protected from the stigmatizing charge of anti-Semitism is the disproportionately large number of Jews involved in the movement, including its leadership positions. However, as Gilad Atzmon has been pointing out in his critique of anti-Zionist Zionists, the Jewish involvement in the movement has been a two-edge sword. These same Jewish activists who provide cover from charges of anti-Semitism also police the movement to make sure that the taboo on discussion of Jewish power is preserved. And when it comes down to it, many Jewish activists in the movement are probably more worried about a backlash against their power due to Zionists going too far than they are about the plight of the Palestinians. http://www.davidduke.com/?p=36611

Who Killed Yasser Arafat?

Arafat’s Ramallah compound had been bombed several times by the Israelis, and they had the place surrounded – yet still he persisted. They couldn’t get him out. Worse, his plight was becoming a metaphor for the condition of his people, who were – and still are – prisoners in their own land. A former adviser claimed he was poisoned by the Israelis, who detained the Palestinian ambulance used to deliver Arafat’s medications to the Ramallah compound. At the time, one tended to write this off as a purely polemical exercise: in light of the new evidence, however, the question has to be asked. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/07/03/who-killed-yasser-arafat/

Israel Demolishes Arab Village 38 Times

Palestinian villagers have addressed the Guinness Book of World Records to register a ruinous “record”. A Bedouin village in Israel has been demolished 38 times by Israeli authorities, who say people in the village do not have building permits. Al-Araqeeb village with population of 500 residents in the Negev claim their some 40 homes have been destroyed over three dozen times by Israel Land Administration. Residents of the Al-Turi Arab Bedouin tribe insist they are being pushed off their own land. “We have ownership documents that go back to the Ottoman era,” the head of the Committee for the Defense of al-Araqeeb, Awad Abu Farih, stated to Anatolian news agency. http://www.rt.com/news/bedouin-village-destroyed-israel-898/

Warning: Visiting Israel is Dangerous

Arrivals supporting Palestinian rights risk harshness. Don’t come wearing jerseys or bearing signs saying solidarity with Palestine. Don’t say you plan West Bank East Jerusalem, and/or Gaza visits. Worse is admitting you’ll help build schools, plant trees, or repair damaged wells. Don’t suggest you plan protesting against illegal settlement construction. If asked, don’t tell. Any one or combination of these may result in close encounters with security forces leaving lasting impressions and realization that avoiding trouble requires staying mum. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/04/20/warning-visiting-israel-is-dangerous/

This Occupation is Brought to You by Corporate America

During a recent demonstration in Hebron (Al Khalil) demanding the opening of Shuhada street, protesters were subjected to something that could only have been thought up in the United States – a weapon which comes with its own commercial. Amid the sound of concussion grenades exploding, an automated voice announces: “This is a test of the long range acoustic device, LRAD, from American Technologies Corporation.” The strange automated message serves as a reminder that the Israeli occupation is not just a local or regional issue but one with important international dimensions. http://uruknet.com/?p=m86745&hd=&size=1&l=e

I believe it's the same company, LabMan. Morton/Thiokol in Utah built the Solid Rocket Boosters(with O-rings) for the Space Shuttle. They make White Phosphorous too, huh? Well, that figures--they only things still produced in this country are weapons and other instruments of death for the insatiable ZOG war machine.

White Phosphorous produced by the American company Tiokol Aerospace, does anyone know if this was part of the Morton/Tiokol company that produced the O rings for the doomed Challenger shuttle?

Israeli Soldiers Drive Tractor Over Worker’s Legs to Stop Palestinians From Building a House on Their (Occupied) Lands

Today is the Sabbath, and I pray with all my heart that all American Zionists see the pictures below and tell me how an ideology of Jewish separatism that has deprived several million Palestinians of any rights can be justified in today’s world. http://mondoweiss.net/2012/01/israeli-soldiers-drive-tractor-over-workers-legs-to-stop-palestinians-from-building-a-house-on-their-occupied-lands.html

The United States of Denial

Newt Gingrich is no doubt a revolutionary political thinker. He has managed to offer an adequate solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. In an interview with Steven Weiss of The Jewish Channel, Gingrich said that the Palestinians are an ‘invented people.’ “I think that we’ve had an invented Palestinian people, who are in fact Arabs, and were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go to many places.” Such an approach to world affairs is consistent with both Walt Disney’s phantasmic vision of reality and Zionist Golda Meir who back in 1969 announced that there was “no such thing as a Palestinian people… It is not as if we came and threw them out and took their country. They didn’t exist.” http://batr.org/view/121111.html

Washington Loses on Own-Goal Hat Trick

One can reasonably argue that the United Nations is not worth the time, effort, and money that it consumes, but there is a disturbing willingness on the part of Washington to abandon any pretense of an independent foreign policy where Israel is concerned. The United States has absolutely no national interest that compels it to deny Palestinian statehood, and it is only making itself even more ridiculous, irrelevant, and isolated internationally by inflicting massive and disproportionate punishment on most of the world over an issue that should not even be in dispute. Washington’s withdrawal from the rest of the world will admittedly be welcomed by many, though it only means that we Americans will be further down the road in the transition to rogue-state status. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2011/11/09/washington-loses-on-own-goal-hat-trick/

Living Under Israel’s Boot

Like occupied people everywhere, Palestinians understand oppression better than experts. Ask them. They’ll explain. In Gaza, it means living under siege and Israeli air, land and sea attacks. West Bank communities face day and night incursions. In the week ending October 27, 58 were conducted, nearly 10 a day. Israel arrests Palestinians while releasing others. Every Palestinian wonders when their loved ones may be taken in middle of the night raids, including children young as ten. http://www.bobtuskin.com/2011/10/31/living-under-israels-boot/

Let’s Get Out of the Middle East – and the UN

by Ron Paul. The Palestinian Authority’s recent announcement that it would seek U.N. recognition as an independent state dominated the news and the political debate in the United States last week, though in truth it should mean very little to us. Only a political class harboring the illusion it can run the world obsesses over the aspirations of a tiny population on a tiny piece of land thousands of miles away. Remember, the U.N. initiated this persistent conflict with its 1947 Partition Plan. Unfortunately, the debate is dominated by those who either support the Israeli side in the conflict, or those who support the Palestinian desire for statehood. We rarely seem to hear the view of those who support the U.S. side and U.S. interests. I am on that side. I believe that we can no longer police the world. http://original.antiwar.com/paul/2011/09/26/lets-get-out-of-the-middle-east-and-the-un/

Carter Tells Obama: Don’t Veto Palestine’s UN Bid

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has called on the Obama administration not to veto a UN Security Council vote for Palestinian statehood expected to take place this week. “If I were president, I’d be very glad to see the Palestinians have a nation recognized by the United Nations,” Carter said in a Sunday interview with the U.S.-based National Public Radio (NPR). Carter emphasized that “there’s no downside to it.” The former American president admitted that if President Barack Obama resisted Tel Aviv’s pressure and did not veto Palestinian statehood bid at the UN, the powerful Israeli lobby in the U.S. would punish Obama. “But I think it’s a price worth paying,” he underlined. Carter said that today, Palestinian statehood should be a basic moral commitment for the United States. http://www.tehrantimes.com/index.php/world/2724-carter-tells-obama-dont-veto-palestines-un-bid

Carter was instrumental in what happened to the former Rhodesia, and played a heavy role in pressuring the Whites who had created that outpost of White Western Civilization to turn over the nation that they had built to black rule. So, I wonder if Mr. Peanut ever feels any guilt over reading about all the White Rhodesians who have been brutally raped, tortured, mutilated and murdered by the predatory black savages - as a direct consequence of what Carter helped to foist upon them? This rat turd is constantly whining about the way the jews in Israel are torturing, mistreating and killing the poor Palestinians, right? Where is his equivalent concern and compassion for members of his own race, I wonder? I think it's safe to say that Jimmy Carter's picture will one day be hanging inside the White Race Traitor Hall of Shame.

No Freedom for Palestine, Thunders Washington

A majority of the world’s nations are fed up by the endless suffering of the stateless Palestinians and support creation of a Palestinian state on the West Bank and Gaza. Turkey’s increasingly influential premier, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, went to Cairo last week and spoke for the world: “Let’s raise the Palestinian flag and let that flag be the symbol of peace and justice in the Middle East.” The United States is desperately scrambling to head off a favorable vote in the UN. Washington threatens to veto any pro-Palestine vote in the Security Council – that alone can grant statehood status to a new state. The U.S. is exerting huge pressure on allies and dependant states to vote against any resolution in the General Assembly. http://www.commondreams.org/view/2011/09/18

Palestine and the Irresistible Winds of Change

The Palestinians are going to declare statehood, or nationhood, in September, regardless of whatever does or doesn’t happen, concerning the international backing being sought. Right on cue, the Ashke-Nazi’s have come up with their own final solution to the problem they created. What this does is make the time frame between now and then a very critical phase; stinking of possible massive false flags, to usurp the timeline in whatever way possible. http://smokingmirrors.blogspot.com/2011/07/palestine-and-irrestible-winds-of.html

Israel in a Strategic Dead End

They are extraordinary scenes. Film shot on mobile phones captured the moment on Sunday when at least 1,000 Palestinian refugees marched across no-man’s land to one of the most heavily protected borders in the world, the one separating Syria from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Waving Palestinian flags, the marchers braved a minefield, then tore down a series of fences, allowing more than 100 to run into Israeli-controlled territory. As they embraced Druze villagers on the other side, voices could be heard saying: “This is what liberation looks like.” Unlike previous years, this Nakba Day was not simply a commemoration of the catastrophe that befell the Palestinians in 1948, when their homeland was forcibly reinvented as the Jewish state. It briefly reminded Palestinians that, despite their long-enforced dispersion, they still have the potential to forge a common struggle against Israel. As Israel violently cracked down on last Sunday’s protests on many fronts — in the West Bank, Gaza, Jerusalem and on the borders with Syria and Lebanon — it looked less like a military superpower and more like the proverbial boy with his finger in the dam. http://www.counterpunch.org/cook05182011.html

Israel’s Doomed Fate

It is becoming clear that Israel lacks the means to cope with Palestinian resilience. Despite Israeli barbarism; despite sixty-three years of oppression, racial discrimination and mass murderous tactics– including the usage of WMD– the Palestinian people have remained determined to return to their land. This week they reminded the Israelis, world Jewry and the rest of the world that the Palestinian cause is not going to fade away. If anything, in 2011, Palestinians seem more decisive, firm and united than their parents’ or grandparents’ generations. http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/gilad-atzmon-israels-doomed-fate.html

A New Truth Dawns on the Arab World

The Palestine Papers are as damning as the Balfour Declaration. The Palestinian “Authority” – one has to put this word in quotation marks – was prepared, and is prepared to give up the “right of return” of perhaps seven million refugees to what is now Israel for a “state” that may be only 10 per cent (at most) of British mandate Palestine. And as these dreadful papers are revealed, the Egyptian people are calling for the downfall of President Mubarak, and the Lebanese are appointing a prime minister who will supply the Hezbollah. Rarely has the Arab world seen anything like this. http://www.readersupportednews.org/off-site-opinion-section/133-133/4753-a-new-truth-dawns-on-the-arab-world

Shot in the Head — Gabrielle Giffords, Tom Hurndall and Palestinian Children

There is something particularly horrifying when someone is shot in the head. Perhaps it’s the gruesome image, the destruction of the brain, the clear intent to kill. The recent shooting of Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is made even more nightmarish by the location of her devastating injury. Those of us who focus on Israel-Palestine are acutely aware of this horror. Several years ago, I was researching the cause of death of Palestinian children killed by Israeli forces during the first months of the Second Intifadah, the Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation. As I counted up the numbers, I was chilled to discover that the single most frequent cause of death in those beginning months was “gunfire to the head.” http://counterpunch.org/weir01142011.html

Serving Up Palestine One Slice at a Time

As of last week, 110 countries in the United Nations have extended diplomatic recognition to the State of Palestine. All recognize Palestine as including the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, essentially the borders as they existed prior to the June 1967 Six Day War. Nearly every country in Latin America, Asia, and Africa has recognized Palestinian statehood and there are indications that many European nations will soon follow suit. Which leaves the United States, yet again, on the wrong side of history. In fact, Washington has gone in completely the opposite direction, insisting that there cannot be any Palestinian state until negotiations are completed between the two parties involved, meaning that Israel shall have a veto on any such development and will postpone it until some time in the next century. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2011/01/19/serving-up-palestine-one-slice-at-a-time/

Israel Hardens Repression as Palestinian Recognition Increases

Never mind that Israel and America don’t negotiate. They demand, imposing their will unilaterally when denied, often by force. Both countries also deplore peace. They prevent it by provoked conflict, blamed on governments they oppose, even democratically elected ones.
