Rupert Murdoch’s Bid to Persuade Gen. David Petraeus to Run as Republican Candidate in the 2012 Presidential Election

Murdoch’s efforts to put his own man in the White House failed because Petraeus decided he did not want to run for office. “Tell [Ailes] if I ever ran,” Petraeus says in the recording, “but I won’t … but if I ever ran, I’d take him up on his offer.” Bernstein is rightly appalled not just by this full-frontal attack on democracy but also by the fact that the Washington Post failed to splash with their world exclusive. Instead they buried it inside the paper’s lifestyle section, presenting it as what the section editor called “a buzzy media story that … didn’t have the broader import” that would justify a better showing in the paper. In line with the Washington Post, most other major US news outlets either ignored the story or downplayed its significance. http://www.globalresearch.ca/ruppert-murdochs-bid-to-persuade-gen-david-petraeus-to-run-as-republican-candidate-in-the-2012-presidential-election/5316543

The State is Doomed — And Other Reasons to be Optimistic

Often times, the final stages of Late, Degenerate Statism involve wanton acts of desperation, where broke and broken States try everything to hold onto and exercise brute power over those it affects to serve. We are talking here about capital controls, increased and burdensome regulation, censorship, surveillance, a tendency toward power centralization, consolidation of crony-corporate interests and, ultimately, police militarization or, The Police State. http://dailyreckoning.com/the-state-is-doomed-and-other-reasons-to-be-optimistic/

The Politics of Non-White Ethnic Coalitions: Tipping Point of a Changing Electorate

Anyone who remembers the early 1960s—a period that Charles Murray describes as the zenith of American society—knows that our country is not the same. The America that Baby Boomers fondly immortalize is reaching the point of no return. It is the same America that Obama rebuffed when he criticized Mitt Romney for attempting to return to the “social policies of the 1950s.” It is a country that was culturally and socially unified, less diverse, less violent, less crowded, and had a smaller and less intrusive federal government. Obama’s repeated snubs at the 1950s during the 2012 presidential campaign would lead one to conclude that it was a dreadful era Americans should abhor. http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2012/12/the-politics-of-non-white-ethnic-coalitions-tipping-point-of-a-changing-electorate/

Republicans for Big Government

Do you know anyone who voted Republican this past election in order to further President Obama’s big government agenda? Or is it more likely that Republican voters sought to advance a smaller version of the federal government? And if they did, why are Republican congressional leaders offering to help the president spend us into oblivion? http://lewrockwell.com/napolitano/napolitano79.1.html

Republicans and Taxes

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the false congressional fiscal conservatives in the Republican Party began to reveal their true selves. Led by the Republican presidential standard bearer in 2008, Arizona Sen. John McCain, at least a half-dozen Republican members of Congress have renounced their public promises never to vote to raise taxes. In the case of Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., Congressman and Senator-elect Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., and Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., they had re-stated their promises, directly or indirectly, as recently as last month during their successful campaigns. Did they blatantly dupe the voters? Did they genuinely change their minds? Did they ever sincerely accept the pro-freedom anti-tax logic? http://lewrockwell.com/napolitano/napolitano78.1.html

Asian-Americans Are Part of the Non-White Coalition

The 73% of Asians voting for Obama was indeed remarkable—higher than Latinos (71%) or Jews (~70). Given their income profile, Asians are voting much more like Jews who, as the old saw goes, vote like Puerto Ricans but earn like Episcopalians. The point here is that their motives for doing so are similar to those of Jews—a lack of identification with the traditional people and culture of America (although doubtless with far less fear and loathing than is typical of Jews). http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2012/11/asian-americans-as-part-of-the-non-white-coalition/

One Good Thing the Re-Election of Obama Has Accomplished

Does anyone believe that these states are really going to secede from the union? Of course not. At least, not yet. Citizen petitions are just that. In order for a State to secede it would have to be formally declared by an act of the State’s legislature and governor. Good luck finding many of those. However, I, for one, applaud the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have signed their State’s petitions for secession. If nothing else, it demonstrates the resolve and determination of freedom-minded people throughout the country who are more than “fed up.” Plus, I do believe these petitions are significant. That the federal government has become a monstrous leviathan that is trampling the liberties of the people, usurping the authority of the states, and making a mockery of the Constitution is the understatement of the year. http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin727.htm

A Party of Plutocrats Has No Future

A large part of the cause for three-million registered Republicans staying home on election day, no doubt, is the treatment given to Ron Paul’s genuine and enthusiastic (if ideologically wrongheaded) grassroots movement. The abuses include what seems to be rigging of results in some primaries, and a rules-change at the Republican National Convention that rankled not only Ron Paul’s supporters but Tea-Partiers and anybody that was not strictly with the plutocratic Republican establishment. The behavior of the Republican establishment during the primaries and at the convention represents the contempt of a plutocratic party for ordinary people who do not heed their supposed betters. http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2012/11/a-party-of-plutocrats-has-no-future/

Why the Romnibus Wasn’t the Omnibus

I have been a bad person. I did not vote. I confess it. I would rather be caught in a gay brothel dealing in underage boys than in a voting booth. The two are equally degrading, but voting carries the further implication of low intelligence. Ages ago a Japanese friend told me “We are not too intelested in Amelican national erection.” Me too either. What was the point? We suffered Years of blather from unqualified charlatans who regard the public as ignorant hamsters of low caste, and what do we get? The same unqualified charlatan. We could have done it without an election. Think of the peace and quiet. http://lewrockwell.com/reed/reed244.html

The War Within the States

The sovereign people of these United States have spoken. Barack Obama has been reelected president of the Republic, and the Man from Kolob has been sent on his way. I would not have been much happier had Romney won. But Republicans may take comfort in the fact that they will have no responsibility for the next four years’ events, unless the Mayan calendar puts us all out of our misery on December 21. That might be best for all of us. The problem is that our head of state is inheriting a bankrupt nation from himself—though said bankruptcy has been decades in the making. In such a position, governments generally either: a) inflate the currency; b) deflate it into a depression; or c) go to war. For reasons known best to themselves, modern rulers seem to prefer the last alternative. I fear that His Excellency may feel compelled to follow in their train—we’ll need a lot of bayonets and horses to break through to Tehran. http://takimag.com/article/the_war_within_the_states_charles_coulombe/print#axzz2CEVlf32E

Why Obama Won

Barack Obama won the U.S. presidency for the same reason Romney would have…the same reason Ron Paul never had the ghost of a chance. Jewish big media puff some candidates and make others disappear. Jewish media, not the people, elect major political leaders. (Google “media bias against Ron Paul” and you’ll find more than a hundred articles documenting such bias against Paul, as also has existed against conservatives in every Presidential election in recent decades.) More than a century ago, “Christian” America, led by pro-Zionist evangelicals, adopted a policy of non-criticism of Jews and Zionism. In doing so, America invited Jewish supremacists to determine the future of our nation, including the privilege of determining who runs Congress and is President. http://www.truthtellers.org/alerts/WhyObamaWon.html

White House Website Deluged With Secession Petitions from 20 States

How would Old Glory look with 30 stars instead of 50? As far-fetched as it may sound, the White House might soon be forced by its own rules to examine the question. On Nov.7, the day after President Barack Obama was re-elected, the White House’s website received a petition asking the administration to allow Louisiana to secede. If 25,000 people sign the petition by Dec. 7, it will “require a response” from the Obama administration, according to published rules of the White House’s online “We the People” program. The Louisiana petition has collected more than 12,300 signatures in four days. A separate effort from Texas has 15,400 supporters. Similar petitions from 18 other states began arriving Nov. 9, bringing the total—for the moment—to 20. The White House website publicly displays petitions that have attracted at least 150 signers. http://www.amren.com/news/2012/11/white-house-website-deluged-with-secession-petitions-from-20-states/#.UKJZfTnm2Pw.email

Disenfranchised White Men: Time for Secession

White men constituted only 34% of the electorate and this will continue to decline. It’s no accident that stocks of gun companies soared after the election, even though the stock market as a whole took a dive. What we have here is a situation in which around 70% of traditional American White men (correcting for the overly inclusive White category used by the media) are now pretty much officially disenfranchised in a country where they see themselves as the founding population. That’s a lot of angry White men. The vast majority of these men are not going to be willing participants in a Republican campaign to recruit Latinos, no matter what the enlightened party elites want. And there will be far more non-Whites voting in 2016 because Obama is bent on legalizing the illegals and because of continuing displacement-level legal non-White immigration. This is or at least ought to be explosive. It may take a while for this 70% to wake up to the reality that they are politically impotent. But it will happen. http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2012/11/disenfranchised-white-males-time-for-secession/

Voter Turnout Plunges Throughout the Western World — Largely Due to Political Corruption

This year, perhaps 90 million Americans who could vote won’t. “The long-term trend tends to be awful,” Gans says. “There’s a lot of lack of trust in our leaders, a lack of positive feelings about political institutions, a lack of quality education for large segments of the public, a lack of civic education, the fragmenting effects of waves of communications technology, the cynicism of the coverage of politics — I could go on with a long litany.” http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/11/less-people-voted-than-in-2004-or-2008.html

Obama Loses the White Vote and Wins

The Presidential election Tuesday is being touted as a victory for “minorities.” The message is that minorities are growing, so other Americans might as well surrender the country to them. The minorities, of course, are beholden to their sponsors, the Illuminati (Masonic) Jewish bankers. This is called “invasion by migration,” i.e. how they took Israel. Israel, India, China, Japan, and Indonesia are allowed their cultural and racial homogeneity. Even Quebec can protect its French identity. But not North America, Western Europe and Australia, because the Illuminati Jewish bankers perceive white Christians as an obstacle to their NWO. Their program, known as the Cloward – Piven strategy is to use government handouts to bribe the “have-nots” as well as the haves (Illuminati-owned banks & corporations.) This ensures that their agents like Obama keep power and increase the debt, which is the means of enslaving the country. Greece and Spain are a harbinger for America. Organized Jewry champions minorities because a coalition of the “have-nots” yields political power. http://www.henrymakow.com/obamas-coalition-of-the-have-n.html

To A3P Supporters and Friends, Thank You From Merlin Miller

This year has been a monumental success and I want to thank the A3P Board of Directors, Party Members, support staff and our field force of volunteers and friends – for all of your hard work and belief. This was the first national campaign effort for the American Third Position Party and we made an incredible impact, surprising our most fearsome detractors, and even some doubting friends. For a new party, with very little money and a small, nascent infrastructure, we’ve built a viable third party that can grow to make a critical difference. We now have it within our ability to unite the various nationalist factions and overcome our nation’s corruptors – to safeguard a future for our progeny and restore America’s traditional greatness. http://american3rdposition.com/?p=8460

Four More Years

Though I argued during the campaign that this election was a Hobson’s choice between big government and bigger government, and that regrettably it addressed how much private wealth the feds should seize and redistribute and how much private behavior they should regulate, rather than whether the Constitution permits them to do so, and though I have argued that we have really one political party whose two branches mirror each other’s wishes for war and power, it is unsettling to find Obama back in the White House for another four years. That sinking feeling comes from the knowledge that he is free from the need to keep an eye on the electorate, and from the terrible thought that he may be the authoritarian we have all known and feared would visit us one day and crush our personal freedoms. http://takimag.com/article/four_more_years_andrew_napolitano/print#axzz2BOTbKT7x

You can only blame “those other guys” for so long. Whether you like it or not, it is an unfortunate reality that both you and those on the other side of the falsely constructed aisle are more alike than you think. Likewise, Republicans must realize that economics, war, and civil liberties are issues that effect Americans regardless of whether a Democrat or Republican is in office. Both Conservatives and Liberals are equally responsible for the moral, intellectual, and rapidly physical wasteland we now find ourselves inhabiting. Because both groups are divided only because they have been subjected ad infinitum to scientific propaganda in order to make such an environment possible, it is high time they both become responsible for repairing it. http://www.activistpost.com/2012/11/its-official-liberals-and-conservatives.html

The Special Interests Won Again

The inability to acknowledge and to debate real issues is a threat not only to the United States but also to the entire world. Washington’s reckless pursuit of hegemony driven by an insane neoconservative ideology is leading to military confrontation with Russia and China. Eleven years of gratuitous wars with more on the way and an economic policy that protects financial institutions from their mistakes have burdened the U.S. with massive budget deficits that are being monetized. The U.S. dollar’s loss of the reserve currency role and hyperinflation are plausible consequences of disastrous economic policy. America Votes for National Suicide

I submit that the common bond which once held Americans together, across a variety of states, has been torn asunder by decades of class warfare, the politics of resentment and an education system which has failed to teach the unique genius of the original American system of government combined with the virtue of self-reliance. We are divided along ideological lines in a chasm that is as wide as any time in our nation’s history going back to the War Between the States in 1861- 1865. Let’s face it, the people in the red states have very little in common with the people in the blue states other than the fact that they happen to reside within the geographical boundaries of a set of lines drawn on a map. What pray tell does a conservative state such as Texas have in common with what is often referred to as “The People’s Republic of California”? The Old South might as well be a completely foreign nation to the majority of people who reside along the Northeast corridor when it comes to values and traditions. That fault line that existed in our nation’s Civil War past was settled not by a bridging of the differences, a finding of common ground, but by a horrific war in which the victor imposed its will upon the defeated. I submit that these “DisUnited States of America” should procede with an amicable divorce while there is still time.  http://traderdannorcini.blogspot.ca/2012/11/america-votes-for-national-suicide.html

For the Republican Party to ask principled conservatives to support candidates who routinely trample constitutional government, who routinely support bigger and bigger government, who routinely aid and abet a growing police state, who routinely finance more and more unconstitutional wars of aggression, who routinely vote to bankrupt America with deficit spending, who routinely provide bailouts for their banker-buddies, and who routinely treat honest, hardworking freedomists like doormats, is to ask for more and more disaster at the polls. So, the net result of the 2012 elections was NO CHANGE. And the reason there was no change in the elections is because there was no change in the Republican Party. Yanking the Lever in Sin City

To my shock I realize that Vegas isn’t so friendly to budget-minded tourists anymore. A man used to be able to get a sirloin steak for pennies, but now a 20-ounce bottle of Diet Pepsi is over $3 and a 20-ounce cup of coffee set me nearly a five-spot. What happened? Rumor has it that casinos are now trying to bleed money out of their customers every way possible after the local economy fell into the toilet a few years back. Oh, right—Nevada’s economy. The entrepreneurs who rolled the dice on Nevada seem to have lost badly. The state’s 11.8% official unemployment rate is the nation’s highest, but to be fair, hookers, drug dealers, and mobsters are not counted as “employed.” Nevada’s housing market and bankruptcy rates are also among the nation’s worst. Despite all this, the state went straight into Obama’s back pocket. http://takimag.com/article/yanking_the_lever_in_sin_city_bruce_cochran/print#axzz2BOTbKT7x

Election 2012: Ron Paul’s Revenge

What’s particularly nervy — galling, really — about the idea that the US ought to be spreading our democratic system across the globe is the fact that we don’t have anything close to democracy in this country. Nor do we have what the Founders intended to create: a republic, where the power of the state is limited by the Constitution. This is underscored every time Americans go to the polls, where they are confronted with “choices” determined by lawmakers whose chief interest in life is getting reelected with as little opposition as possible. These guardians of the polity have made it virtually impossible for so-called third parties — i.e. parties not controlled by corporate interests and foreign lobbyists — to even get on the ballot. And if you don’t like this state of affairs, and take action, the State will smack you right in the face. Take the case of Richard Winger, the third party expert and political analyst, editor of Ballot Access News, who, together with other interested parties, sued the state of California so that all candidates would have an equal right to show their party label on the ballot. With the passage of an “open primary” law, which effectively abolished third parties, California’s third party candidates couldn’t even identify themselves on the ballot. The lawsuit failed, however, and the judge ruled that the plaintiffs had to pay the court costs of the big corporate moneybags who had sponsored the “open primary” legislation to being with. Winger and his fellow third partiers got a bill for $243,279.50. Isn’t “democracy” wonderful? Well, no, it isn’t, not the current American version, which merely serves to legitimize — in a “legal” sense, at any rate — what is in reality an oligarchy. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/11/06/election-2012-ron-pauls-revenge/

Warfare State Wins Re-Election, Along With Obama

Americans re-elected President Barack Obama on November 6th for four more years, giving so-called “mandate” to unconstitutional war, an expanding secret drone program, codification of indefinite detention, and widespread government secrecy. In fact, the mandate for those policies was far greater than Obama’s side of the vote count. GOP contender Mitt Romney agreed with Obama on virtually every foreign policy and national security issue, from Iran to Syria, Israel to Egypt, the drug war to Afghanistan, and the pivot to Asia-Pacific. Where voters saw a difference in this election was with regard to economic policies. The electorate was split over whether Obama or Romney was better equipped to magically create jobs via government coercion. U.S. foreign policy, though, would have stayed the same regardless of which candidate won the election. http://news.antiwar.com/2012/11/06/warfare-state-wins-reelection-along-with-obama/

Election 2012: How the Winner Will Destroy America

Of all the hollow and uninspired elections that this country has suffered through over the past several decades, one might think that at some point long ago the American public would have finally struck a plateau of disenfranchisement; that we could sink no further into despondency, that there is a saturation limit to the corruption of our voting process. Unfortunately, there has been no such luck. We have to say that in all honesty we have never seen more people gut jumbled and disgusted with our electoral system than we have in 2012. In 2012, it will not be about voting. It will not be about “winning”. It will not even be about getting to the next election. It will be about survival. We’re sorry to say that the idea that one man will do less damage than the other is a naïve sentiment. Democrat? Republican? Obama? Romney? The crimes and calamities wrought will be exactly the same. Take a look into our crystal ball and see the future. Here is how the winner will destroy America. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2012-11-06/election-2012-how-winner-will-destroy-america

Dateline: Election Day 2012

For the better part of two years the campaign saga has pounded the surf of our daily lives like a relentless black tide. Now, in a matter of hours, polling places at last will close, with either President Barack Obama or Mitt Romney emerging victorious at the other end, the flotsam and jetsam of the last 24 months receding quietly into memory. For the most part, it’s a lot of detritus we want to see go. Forever. But think about it, in the morning light, the world will look a lot more dangerous than it even did two years ago. Furthermore, all we know about the candidates on foreign policy and national security is that the incumbent has no fresh ideas and the new guy, well, he was nominated from a collection of Republican circus acts who distinguished themselves by debating whether Palestinians were “invented,” how fast they could declare war on Iran, who loved Israel most, how many illegal immigrants could be sent home at once, how many more zillions they would add to the military budget, and who was more exceptionally exceptional about America’s super-duper exceptionalism. http://original.antiwar.com/vlahos/2012/11/05/dateline-election-day-2012/

U.S. Elections: Will the Dead Vote and the Voting Machines Be Hacked?

With electronic voting machines, which leave no paper trail and are programmed with proprietary software, the count can be decided before the vote. Those who control the electronics can simply program voting machines to elect the candidate they want to win. Electronic voting is not transparent. When you vote electronically, you do not know for whom you are voting. Only the machine knows. According to most polls, the race for the White House is too-close-to-call. History has shown that when an election is close and there’s no expectation for a clear winner, these are the easiest ones to steal. Even more important, the divergence between exit polls, perhaps indicating the real winner, and the stolen result, if not overdone, can be very small. Those who stole the election can easily put on TV enough experts to explain that the divergence between the exit polls and the vote count is not statistically significant or is because women or racial minorities or members of one party were disproportionately questioned in exit polls. There have been recent reports that, because of costs, exit polls in the 2012 presidential election will no longer be conducted on the usual comprehensive basis in order to save money. If the reports are correct, no check remains on election theft. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/11/03/u-s-elections-will-dead-vote-voting-machines-hacked/

Remember, Remember the Sixth of November

How’s voting for evil working out? What makes anyone think this time will be any different? Einstein said that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is a form of insanity. The great, great majority of people in the U.S. today believe that the U.S. was prosperous was because they were “special”. They believe that if things start to go bad you just have to print more Federal Reserve Notes. And many of them believe that by bombing and killing people around the world they can salvage the American Dream. Here’s the good news. This system is dead. It was dead the moment the U.S. went towards communist style centralized planning on December 23rd, 1913. It had its final nail put in its coffin on August 15, 1971 when any last link to a hard asset was taken away from the dollar and by default from every currency. And now after this, the most disasterous experiment in human history, the sytem is reaching its terminal stage. In fact, judging by the stench coming off of it, you’d think the Western World was already a corpse…and might have been for a while. http://lewrockwell.com/berwick/berwick68.1.html

Merlin Miller

This is the easiest endorsement for president The Nationalist Times has made in its 27 year history. Merlin Miller is a good and decent man who believes in and stands for all the right things. He’s a breath of fresh air in a country slowly but surely strangling from its bizarre toxic mix of corruption, delusions and lies. The “lesser of two evils” nonsense must be decisively rejected if America is to live. In the last decade, the government of the Disunited Cultural Marxist States of America has grown like a giant tumor, and now threatens not only the “homeland” but the entire world with annihilation. The perpetual two-party monopoly is an illegitimate disgrace. The American people are in mortal danger because of their ignorance, but even they in large numbers want a more open political system rather than the Soviet Lite version that the U.S. Empire has fine-tuned over the generations. Watching the national conventions of the two monopoly gangs, with their party apparatchiks continually yelling “USA!” “USA!” “USA!” like Pavlov’s dogs on steroids while smashing any kind of genuine dissent and open discussion only lends to the inescapable conclusion that this is a country gone not only totalitarian but mad. http://american3rdposition.com/?p=8223

Romney’s Neo-Cons

In the public mind, the word “neocon” is unalterably associated with war, and further: with a losing, futile, disastrous war. For any candidate for the presidency to be associated with them and their failed policies is electoral poison. No wonder they’ve gone back into the closet, so to speak, although they certainly have not folded up their tents and stolen into the night: far from it, as their penetration of RomneyWorld underscores. What the neocons are hoping to get out of Romney is the same sort of hegemony they enjoyed during the Bush era: after all, how hard would it be to fill the empty vessel of Romney’s mind just as they did Dubya’s? In order to get into that position, however, it’s necessary to utilize stealth tactics, and Zakheim (as well as his candidate) understands that. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/11/01/romneys-neocons/

Looking Beyond Election Day: The Issues That Threaten to Derail the Nation

While it may be months before the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy can be fully resolved, Americans cannot afford to lose sight of the very real and pressing issues that threaten to derail the nation. What follows is an overview of the major issues that both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, despite their respective billion dollar war chests, have failed to mention during their extensive campaign trail stumping and televised debates. These are issues that aren’t going away anytime soon. Indeed, unless we take a proactive approach to the problems that loom large before us, especially as they relate to America’s ongoing transformation into a police state, we may find that they are here to stay. http://lewrockwell.com/whitehead/whitehead62.1.html

Americans Proudly Voting for Evil

I very much recommend those two articles by Arthur Silber, The Refusal to Identify and Reject Evil, and Accomplice to Murder (the latter which may be quite lengthy but well worth your time). And in an even more recent article (NB: some profanity), Silber makes very clear just how deranged and psychopathic our rulers really are. But regarding the increasingly transparent status of mainstream news media as government spokespeople, such as the New York Times and the Washington Post have shown, as I pointed out here and here, these outlets now are not particularly biased to the left or to the right, or liberal or conservative, but mainly are biased toward the State. This authoritarian deference to the State by the news media has grown especially since 9/11. Civil liberties expert Glenn Greenwald expressed just recently, That is what explains why the U.S. media has been so obsequious first with George Bush and now with his Democratic successor (for those who doubt that “the liberal media” venerated Bush as much as [Michael Lewis and Douglas Brinkley] do Obama, I’ll remind you of this still-remarkable, borderline pornographic display of giddy fawning on Mission Accomplished Day, or the fact that Bush’s own Press Secretary wrote a book mocking the US media for how “deferential” it was to the Bush White House). It’s why journalists joyously dance with top officials, swing on their tires, are creepily grateful when they’re sprayed in the face by their squirt guns, and play fun beach games with the very campaign officials they’re ostensibly covering. http://www.lewrockwell.com/lazarowitz/lazarowitz56.1.html

Yes Americans have been voting in evil their whole life, for in this Judeo-Democracy that is the only choice they are given. But don't think Americans are any different then they were years ago for they voted in the most evil man to ever be sworn to office, not once but 4 times, yes I am talking about the bloodthirsty Henry Morganthu puppet Franklin D. Rosenfelt. We may from time to time think America was once good and a beakon of hope, well that has never been the case, it has all been an illusion. Last week I read once again the timeless classic by Upton Sinclair 'The Jungle' I'm sure many of you remember reading it back in our school days, but until you get older it doesn't really sink in. Heck back then we were too busey chasing skirts to even care about ancient history. The Jungle was written in 1906 and it's timeline was at the start of the 20th Century, it tells the tale of how the system chewed people up and spit them out and how the voting system in America really works and that is by fraud and buying of votes. Do yourself a favor and re-read this old classic and you will come to the same conclusion and that is America has always been rotten to the core.

The Bombs-Away Election

Many Americans are rightly disgusted by the non-choice they are offered in the presidential race every four years. This year is no different despite the serious problems that the United States faces at home and abroad. Mitt Romney has no actual plan to fix the economy, and the record of President Barack Obama over the past four years speaks for itself. Romney is a big-government Republican, while Obama is an even-bigger-government Democrat. Either will increase the deficit to the bankruptcy point; Romney through more spending on arms, soldiers, and wars, Obama with a sorely needed health-care program that will break the bank because it was created in collusion with the health-care and insurance industries and makes no effort to limit costs. Most other differences are cosmetic, since the Democrats and Republicans in reality represent two nearly identical faces of the Washington policy elite, an elite that inevitably circles the wagons and protects its own first, last, and always. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2012/10/31/the-bombs-away-election/

Voter Fraud Inevitable From Digital Elections

Political parties have always hated the Republic. Their purpose is to confuse and distort politics in order that their organizations can manage the process of sham elections. The fraud that there is a real difference between the DemocRATS and RepubliCANTS, should be apparent to even the most obsessed party activist. So why do the masses continue to act as asses? Why do they still vote? The only answer that potentially explains this discontent from sane reality is that voters believe they get something out of supporting a politician. http://www.batr.org/totalitariancollectivism/102812.html

Blacks May Riot if Obama Loses — But What Will Whites do if He Wins?

As Mitt Romney seems to be pulling into the lead in the presidential race, several articles have appeared wondering whether blacks will riot if their man losses. The Drudge Report highlighted many of these articles last week. Judging from Twitter comments, a number of blacks are indeed promising violence if Mr. Romney wins. One of the more printable tweets is from “Don Kushnelius” who chirps, “If Mitt Romney wins the election I think it’s our duties as Black folks to riot and f*** s*** up.” There was some talk of this in 2008 but by election day nobody thought Mr. McCain would win so the issue didn’t get much attention. Still, the sight of white suburbanites gathering side-by-side with blacks in Chicago’s Grant Park on election night in 2008 did make me wonder what would have happened to these SWPL (Stuff White People Like) types—some with small children—if Mr. Obama had lost. http://www.amren.com/news/2012/10/blacks-may-riot-if-obama-losses-but-what-will-whites-do-if-he-wins/

But again I am using reason and you can't use reason in an insane world. The best description I have ever read describing the negro was said by a Frenchmen during the chaos in San Domingo (Haiti) in the late 1700's He said the negro is not human, he is a highly advanced highly evolved sub-species of the Orangatang. That says it all for you can not deal with a animal like you would a human and only a fool thinks he can.

Institutionalized State Assassinations and the November 6 Election

With barely a week and a half to go until the November 6 presidential elections, the entire spectrum of the American pseudo-left is exerting maximum efforts to turn out votes for Obama with the claim that the reelection of the incumbent Democrat would represent the “lesser of two evils.” If there was any need for a further refutation of this shabby political argument it has been provided in the form of the exposé run by the Washington Post this week on the Obama administration’s institutionalization of assassinations orchestrated from the White House. “Disposition Matrix,” sounding like the title of a science fiction film, is the term crafted by Obama’s intelligence and military advisers to describe a new system that is “codifying and streamlining” the extrajudicial killings that are being carried out on the orders of the U.S. president on virtually a daily basis. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article32876.htm

In Amerika There Will Never Be a Real Debate

by Paul Craig Roberts. Obviously the working population of the U.S. has been sacrificed to the profits of the mega-rich. An appropriate debate question is: Why has the livelihood of working Americans been sacrificed to the profits of the mega-rich? No such question will ever be asked in a “presidential debate.” In the 21st century, U.S. citizens became nonentities. They are brutalized by the police whose incomes their taxes pay. They, for protesting some injustice or for no cause at all, are beaten, arrested, tasered and even murdered. The police, paid by the public, beat up paralyzed people in wheel chairs, frame those who call them for help against criminals, taser grandmothers and small children, and shoot down in cold blood unarmed citizens who have done nothing except lose control of themselves, either through alcohol, drugs, or rage. Brainwashed Americans pay large taxes at every level of government for protection against gratuitous violence, but what their taxes support is gratuitous violence against themselves. Every American, except for the small number of mega-rich who control Washington, can be arrested and dispossessed, both liberty and property, on the basis of nothing but an allegation of a member of the executive branch who might want the accused’s wife, girlfriend, property, or to settle a score, or to exterminate a rival, or to score against a high school, college, or business rival. In America today, law serves the powerful, not justice. In effect, there is no law, and there is no justice. Only unaccountable power. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/10/24/in-amerika-will-never-real-debate/

Obama And Romney Both Favor a One World Economic System That Kills American Jobs

Either way this election turns out, American jobs are going to continue to get slaughtered by the millions. During this campaign, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama have both attempted to portray each other as the “outsourcer in chief”. Unfortunately, they are both right. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both participated in the outsourcing of American jobs, and both are openly admitting to the American people that they favor the emerging one world economic system which will continue to destroy millions of American jobs. In fact, they argue with each other about which of them will be more aggressive in pursuing more “free trade” agreements over the next four years. Unfortunately, the “free trade” agreements that the U.S. government enters into are never “fair trade” agreements. Before the Election: A Pattern of Provocations

The news that the administration has agreed to one-on-one talks with Iran will no doubt be brought up at the upcoming foreign policy debate, with Mitt Romney averring this is yet more evidence of the Obama administration’s “weakness.” Talking, you see, is weakness: killing is proof of strength. That’s the Republican approach to foreign affairs. On the other hand, both the White House and the Iranians are denying direct talks are in the offing: and while cowardice is a signature characteristic of this administration, especially when it comes to dealing with the phony Iranian nuclear “crisis,” the Iranians have good reason to keep this under deep cover. They are all too aware of the Israel lobby’s ability to squelch efforts to reach a peaceful settlement. According to the Times, Tehran has agreed to talks only after the election, on the grounds that they don’t know whom they’ll be dealing with in the White House come January. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/10/21/before-the-election-a-pattern-of-provocations/

Obamneycare Converts Health Care Into Profits

If Obama’s subsidies and Romney’s vouchers are not indexed to medical inflation, Obamneycare will provide diminishing care as the years go by. As jobs offshoring has stripped the country of middle class job growth, the incomes earned by waitresses, bartenders, hospital orderlies, and Walmart’s part-time workers will not cover shelter, food, transportation, and health care. When Obama sold out his supporters to the insurance companies, Obama supporters lined up with the pretense that diverting Medicare money to private profits was an improvement over the current system. Obama supporters have now invested so much emotional capital in Obama’s assault on Medicare that they pretend there is some meaningful difference between Obamacare’s government subsidized private insurance policies and Romneycare’s government subsidized private medical insurance vouchers. While the two sides yell and scream at one another, the concrete hardens around the new common policy of shorter lives for the elderly and more profits for private corporations. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/10/19/obamneycare-converts-health-care-into-profits/

Elections Should Belong to the People

When I was nominated by the Constitution Party in 2008, I became one of only six Presidential candidates who were on enough State ballots that year to theoretically have the potential to obtain enough electoral votes to win the Presidency. The others were Bob Barr (Libertarian), Ralph Nader (Independent), Cynthia McKinney (Green), Barack Obama (Democrat), and John McCain (Republican). But of course, the only candidates that were allowed to participate in the national debates were Obama and McCain. Why? The two major parties control the Presidential Debate Commission. Do readers not find it more than interesting that when the US government took control of Iraq, they demanded that Iraqi elections reflect and represent the entire country and insisted that Iraqi elections be open to “all.” That’s why you saw over twenty, or maybe even thirty, different political parties participate in Iraq’s elections. This was done with the approbation and, in fact, insistence of the US government. A Dream Dies, But the Beat Goes On

I am still trying to recover from the Republican Party’s overwhelming failure to understand that only Ron Paul was speaking good sense about the dismal state of U.S. foreign policy. Depending on whom you listen to, however, one might almost think in spite of all evidence to the contrary that the revolution is still going on and just one more tweak will deliver a Brave New World. That is because hardly a day passes without yet another email from the various organizations that are seeking to cash in on the Ron Paul legacy, demonstrating that they have the moxie to continue the fight. The most recent email from John Tate and Campaign for Liberty pledged to do something about drones, the latest empty promise that comes on top of not-quite-achieved victories in auditing the Fed and Pentagon and defending the Internet. Just send $50 or whatever one can spare. We’ll spend it wisely. Really. In spite of it all, I strongly believe that Dr. Paul’s immense contribution to the political debate forced something of a rethinking of the unfortunate direction that our nation has taken in the past 10 years. His message continues to resonate, if muted, and is worth more than an eventual footnote in a history book. In the area of foreign policy, he alone had the courage to speak out on issues that the other candidates chose to ignore while puffing out their chests, wrapping themselves in the flag, and boasting of “American Exceptionalism.” The only problem is that many of those who are now crying “legacy,” including Tate and Company, couldn’t have cared less about foreign policy when they might have actually done something to intensify the debate. They obsess about drones in the United States while ignoring their use overseas. They were precisely the folks who failed the campaign or who sold out in the first place. Onward and upward, leaving no man behind has turned into “let us reason together” and let’s “go along to get along.” http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2012/10/10/a-dream-dies-but-the-beat-goes-on/

Media Coverage of Identity Politics

One does not need to support or vote for a Mitt Romney presidency to reject the destructive dogma that underpins the liberal malady. Lara Logan makes an astute observation that applies universally. “Identity politics revolve around the narrative of victimization. For adherents to identity politics, the victim is not a person, but a member of a privileged victim group. That is, the status of victimhood is not determined by facts, but by membership in an identity group.” Implement this insight as it pertains to the manner that the mass media conducts their ideological feud against Middle America. The self-anointed elites that populate daily perceptions and agendas worthy of discussion share an identity that supersedes the common person. The kind of victimhood message that these egomaniacs publish or broadcast, seeks to extend and spread the propaganda distortions that reinforces the virus of multiculturalism. Rational and insightful citizens see the media elite as dying dinosaurs. Their disinformation does influence the Obama phone dame and dudes, no matter what their skin color. Breaking News! Obama May Not Be Perfect After All

In his closing remarks at the first debate in Denver last week, President Obama uttered the following sentence: “Four years ago, I said that I’m not a perfect man and I wouldn’t be a perfect president.” For anyone who has watched Obama campaign for a second term this year, the phrase is old hat — part of the president’s seemingly self-effacing acknowledgment that he has, is and will continue to make mistakes but that he does so in the service of trying to do the right thing. But the now-familiar phrase took on a different — and more troubling — meaning for the president in the debate as it capped a decidedly desultory performance that left even his most loyal allies wondering what was wrong with him. http://isteve.blogspot.com/2012/10/breaking-news-obama-may-not-be-perfect.html

The U.S. Presidential Debates’ Illusion of Political Choice

Wednesday night’s debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney underscored a core truth about America’s presidential election season: the vast majority of the most consequential policy questions are completely excluded from the process. This fact is squarely at odds with a primary claim made about the two parties – that they represent radically different political philosophies – and illustrates how narrow the range of acceptable mainstream political debate is in the country. In part this is because presidential elections are now conducted almost entirely like a tawdry TV reality show. Personality quirks and trivialities about the candidates dominate coverage, and voter choices, leaving little room for substantive debates. But in larger part, this exclusion is due to the fact that, despite frequent complaints that America is plagued by a lack of bipartisanship, the two major party candidates are in full-scale agreement on many of the nation’s most pressing political issues. As a result these are virtually ignored, drowned out by a handful of disputes that the parties relentlessly exploit to galvanise their support base and heighten fear of the other side. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/oct/04/third-party-us-presidential-debate-deceit?CMP=email

Voting For Death

Each party paints the other as the greater evil, though both are equally whorish to a military banking complex that has wrought so much grief and destruction worldwide, including here. As they offshore your job, they may toss you a free cell phone or allow you to wed your same sex lover, but isn’t it time, seriously, we demand that our money be spent responsibly for our benefits? But, no, we can only beg for small change, instead of real ones, and must vote, again, for proven liars and criminals, and hope, against all evidence, that they won’t impale us this time. So how does it feel to have so much evil, deceit and betrayal hardening through the entire length of your being? But what’s worst about this is that you yourself have allowed it to happen, have enabled it, if only symbolically, by voting for one of the two parties that are pro war and pro corruption. They will likely get 99% of your votes, in fact, so America will have endorsed overwhelmingly, again, an openly criminal agenda, and the world will again be aghast. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article32649.htm

A Presidential Debate That Will Never Happen

Before I proceed with my questions, you should know a few things about me. I didn’t vote in 2008. I didn’t vote for my current congressman, my current governor, or my current president. In fact, I’ve never voted for any candidate—ever—who won. And I don’t plan on voting next month. The state I live in will go for Romney, and the county where I live will elect anything that’s black and Democratic, so my ballot won’t make a difference either way. I’m pretty much silenced in the political process. I realize you feel that it’s within your power to grant me some illusory “right” to complain about all this, but I could bitch until the bloodhounds start barking and it won’t make a dent in the machine that supports both of you. http://takimag.com/article/a_fantasy_presidential_debate_that_will_never_happen_jim_goad1/print#axzz28S7KFwWq

Why I Dislike Israel

Whether or not I have Jewish friends does not define how I see Israel and is irrelevant to the argument. And as for the Israelis, when I was a CIA officer overseas, I certainly encountered many of them. Some were fine people and some were not so fine, just like the general run of people everywhere else in the world. But even the existence of good upstanding Israelis doesn’t alter the fact that the governments that they have elected are essentially part of a long-running criminal enterprise judging by the serial convictions of former presidents and prime ministers. Most recently, former President Moshe Katsav was convicted of rape, while almost every recent head of government, including the current one, has been investigated for corruption. Further, the Israeli government is a rogue regime by most international standards, engaging as it does in torture, arbitrary imprisonment, and continued occupation of territories seized by its military. Worse still, it has successfully manipulated my country, the United States, and has done terrible damage both to our political system and to the American people, a crime that I just cannot forgive, condone, or explain away. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2012/10/03/why-i-dislike-israel/

Cynthia McKinney On Leadership

Cynthia McKinney

by Paul Craig Roberts. Those who have followed the Republican campaign for the presidential nomination and current contest between Romney and Obama know that the United States has no political leadership in Washington. Billions of dollars have been spent on political propaganda, but not a single important issue has been addressed. The closest the campaign has come to a political issue is which candidate can grovel the lowest at the feet of Israeli prime minister Netanyahu. Romney won that contest. But for the rest, well, it is like two elementary school children sticking their tongues out at one another. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/10/02/cynthia-mckinney-on-leadership/

Will Obama Keep Power By Any Means Necessary?

The party still needs Americans to believe that the old bottle of the Constitution – the external forms – they have preserved are the reality, that America is still a land of the free and a democracy in which the people can choose who is president, even if they only get a choice of alpha and beta, a black republicrat or a white republicrat. The party will not break the old constitutional forms – the bottle now filled with the new wine of totalitarian tyranny, as seen blatantly in the fed – until the coming implosion frightens the masses into submission to martial law. http://lewrockwell.com/douglas/douglas58.1.html

Jungleboots, you obviously didn't read the (short) article before posting, but that doesn't surprise me as just seeing the words "lewrockwell" in a url seems to set you off on a rant. If you had you would see the article answers its headline with an emphatic "no."

Jungleboots

"Will Obama keep power by any means necessary" Now who in their right mind actually thinks that big dumb coon has one ounce of power. More bullsh*t to suggest that the pres. of the U.S has any power or say so what so ever. The only thing Obama has decided on is who he's going to put down in his collage basketball tournements. Unbelieveable, but then again it's a Lew Rockwell piece and you know Lew, stick to the controlled script, never mention Khazars, the real truth and everything bad has in origins in Naziland.

Toeing the Party Line

I got booted off of the radio station from which I have broadcast over the past 10 years. You read that right. For nearly a decade I hosted a Saturday morning talk-show called Pass The Salt “Talk Radio with a Sting” on a local radio station “in the cornfields of Ohio.” I wasn’t an employee of the station. I was an independent contractor. I purchased my radio time. Last month the new station manager cancelled my show via email. Yep. He sent me an email telling me that the show was being cancelled immediately and that I would have no opportunity to say goodbye to my regular listening audience because he was afraid of what I might say. He should be afraid. The truth is always frightening to those who have something to hide. http://www.newswithviews.com/Daubenmire/dave295.htm

This is Insanity

The short-sighted, narrow-minded thinking of party loyalists (Republican and Democrat) demonstrates what can only be regarded as a slave mentality. People who vote nothing but party label are in truth already slaves. They are slaves to an elitist establishment that uses the machinery of the two major parties (at the national level) to advance a diabolical globalist agenda. That’s why it doesn’t matter to a tinker’s dam whether it’s Bill Clinton or G.W. Bush–or Barack Obama or Mitt Romney–who is elected President: nothing changes the march towards globalism and oppression. At the top, both major parties are controlled by globalists. http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin720.htm

Romney’s 47 Percent ‘Gaffe’ — The Racial Realities

The core of the poor, non-working Takers are minorities—some of them imported, illegal, minorities and their anchor-baby children. The core of Makers—the 53 percent of Americans who are paying for everything—are white. By the way, I probably don’t need to prove that welfare recipients are disproportionately black and Hispanic, since criticism of welfare is considered racist, but there’s a myth, shared even by some conservatives that the majority of welfare recipients are white. http://www.vdare.com/articles/the-fulford-file-romneys-47-percent-gaffe

Insignificant Significance of the ’47%’ Videos

It isn’t much of a secret that preppy Mitt and his cohorts in the money-influence circles view with animus that 80 percent of Americans below the Knight (1%) and Squire (19%) ranks, those who might be considered either poor or part of the fast-disappearing middle class; an antipathy which turns into disdain when it comes to that lowest 47 percent. But that arch-conservative moneyed group, one we have been referring to as the Thug-elite, also knows, and knows very well, that it needs to enlist some of those hoi polloi to either vote for the masters, the holders of most wealth and power, or to not vote at all. No, Mitt Romney committed one lapsus linguae, a faux pas of sorts for sure, but nothing so serious that will cost him many votes, certainly not the election as so many liberal talking heads would make their followers believe. After the financial debacle caused by a thieving and uncontrolled Thug-elite (banksters, Wall Street, moneyed interests), helped in part by a society ready to be courted by its very own ugly greed, this time in real estate, one would think the electorate would have economics as the prime, if not the sole focus when casting a ballot in this next presidential election. And that would entail castigating politicians, or parties, who could be justly blamed for such debacle and for embracing globalization without a viable plan for those Americans who would be left behind without living-wage jobs; while rewarding politicians, or parties, who offer a reasonable way out, not just of the present mess we are in, but of the impending uglier mess which looms in the horizon. But that would be taxing reality in a nation which has failed to charge Wall Street criminals, for the most part Republicans; in a nation where Bill Clinton, the godfather of American globalization, continues to be held in high esteem by a clueless Democrat party. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2012-09-22/guest-post-insignificant-significance-%E2%80%9C47%E2%80%9D-videos

As the War Drums Beat

by Merlin Miller, American Third Position presidential candidate. The Iranian people are similar to Europeans in appearance…a beautiful people, poised and kind. Their women wear clothing which modestly cover them, but in elegant fashion and with serene faces that are usually exposed. They return smiles and are not treated as second class citizens, as we have been conditioned to believe. In fact, they outnumber men in higher education enrollments. There is no profanity and women are safe on any Tehran street – at any time of day or night. The influences of western civilization have not been totally removed, but the Iranians resist the decadence of cultural-Marxism. I attribute this largely to their faith and love of family. I was surprised to discover that the Islamic faith actually honors Jesus and Christianity. However, through Zionist media control, policy dictates, and other manipulations, the Christian world is incessantly convinced that Muslims should be our enemies and that we should be theirs. Muslims look with jaundiced eye upon the outrageous media lies and perpetual assaults on their faith and culture. Hollywood’s promotion of twisted films can provoke extremist reactions, and we are then led to believe that Muslims are all radicals. We never question the bizarre promotion of these divisive, Zionist inspired productions, or the actions of multinational interests in the internal affairs of sovereign Islamic nations. Were we to look honestly at the many false portrayals, we would see remarkable similarities to how our Christian communities have also been assaulted – increasingly with contempt and disrespect by these same Zionist and Cultural Marxist propagandists. They seek a globalist new world order – devoid of the diversity and freedoms associated with independent nation states. http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2012/09/as-the-war-drums-beat/

Spinning Benghazi

Washington can’t seem to get their story straight: first we were told the attack on our Benghazi consulate and the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens was the result of a spontaneous demonstration that got out of hand – and today we’re told it was all a plot initiated by a heretofore little-known “al Qaeda affiliate.” Before we get to the obvious question – which is it? – let’s linger awhile and wonder: why the sudden change in spin? This is important because in Washington, and the world of American politics, there is no reality: there’s just spin. People have opinions carefully tailored to the political demands of the moment – and during a presidential election year these change by the minute. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/09/20/spinning-benghazi/

The War Drums Are Getting Louder

And now we’re back where we started ten years ago. The war drums are getting louder by the minute, the neocons are out hustling in print and on television screens spreading the word from Tel Aviv, and the hundreds of thousands of dead after the disastrous wars of Iraq and Afghanistan are long forgotten. Netanyahu wants to bomb Iran, and Mitt Romney has made it clear that he will send American planes and warships to assist him if he wins the White House. Obama may be useless as president, but at least he resists playing the hit man for Netanyahu and the wild men of Likud. He realizes that every country we “liberated”—Iraq, Afghanistan, even Libya—hates our guts. The world knows that Israel is the Middle East’s only nuclear (illegal) superpower. When Netanyahu calls Iran’s nuclear plants an existential threat, I’m sure he breaks down laughing in private. Iran would be vaporized in a day if it tried to launch a nuclear-tipped missile, however crude. The mullahs know it, Netanyahu knows it, Obama and Romney know it, yet Uncle Sam is being held hostage to the extent that Obama is begging Israel to hold off attacking Iran until after the November elections. What in hell’s name is going on here? Are the American government’s executive and legislative branches taking orders from Jerusalem? Democrats Flout Constitution

The delegates in Charlotte knew the mantra, and they chanted it in unison with Vice President Biden: “Osama bin Laden is dead, and General Motors is alive.” Set aside whether it was appropriate to bail out America’s fifth-largest company. More striking is the Democrats’ adoption of the “Let’s Roll!” hawkishness that the Left used to hate. Democrats mentioned bin Laden from the podium 29 times, according to the New York Times website — that’s more than they mentioned solar, wind, geothermal and ethanol combined. Obama’s 2011 military intervention in Libya was an applause line for John Kerry, who said Obama’s Tomahawk strikes and bombing attacks — none of which were authorized by Congress — “made America lead like America again.” The Democrats’ embrace of presidential war powers manifested itself in changes to the party platform. Four years ago, Obama ran on a platform declaring, “We support constitutional protections and judicial oversight on any surveillance program involving Americans.” That platform added, “We reject illegal wire-tapping of American citizens.” To borrow Biden’s phrasing, those platform planks are dead, and illegal wire-tapping of Americans is alive. http://washingtonexaminer.com/carney-democrats-flout-constitution-go-on-the-warpath/article/2507434#.UE32e41lS0E

David Stockman: ‘Ron Paul is Right: The Fed, and the Lunatics That Run It, Are the Heart of the Problem’

Former Reagan OMB Director David Stockman was ‘allowed’ on CNBC this morning – much to their chagrin now we suspect – and espoused his own brand of truthiness, starting with this epic tirade: “Ron Paul is the only one who is right about the Fed, and the Fed is the heart of the problem. They have destroyed the capital markets and the money markets; interest rates mean nothing; everything is trading off the Fed and Wall Street isn’t even home – as it’s now a bunch of computers trading word-clouds emitted by this central banker and that” In this environment, he goes on, everyone is being given the wrong signal – i.e. the Ryan/Romney campaign is about restoring vibrant capitalism; how can you do that when the financial markets are dead – the lifeblood of a capitalist system. And that is the problem today. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/stockman-ron-paul-right-fed-and-lunatics-run-it-are-heart-problem

RNC vs. DNC: ‘Ocean of Whiteness’ vs. Star Wars Cantina

This is the result of the two-party oligopoly that we live under: both Democrats and Republicans seem united in ensuring that every community, school, city, and state resembles the Star Wars Bar Scene—while the history of the United States is more akin to the movie’s triumphal homogeneous ending. America may not be better off after four years of Barack Obama. But more importantly, it won’t be better off, as a nation, four years from now—regardless if Obama or Romney is elected. The Democratic Party is happy sheltering the disparate groups united in their hatred of the majority race, although at any moment (and in the end inevitably) the various groups could engage in huge bar brawl. On the other hand, the Conservatism Inc. stewards of the GOP, although funded by money that pours in from elderly white people who remember the near-homogenous country of their youth, have completely surrendered to the notion that America is destined to become a second Brazil. The Tenacity of Mendacity

The overwhelming evidence suggests that FDR lied about Pearl Harbor, JFK lied about the Cuban Missile Crisis, Nixon lied about Watergate, Reagan lied about Iran-Contra, Clinton lied about Monica Lewinsky, George W. Bush lied about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, and that Obama is lying about Fast and Furious. What’s startlingly depressing is that political partisans persist in their cognitively dissonant belief that it’s only the other side that lies. That may be the biggest of all the Big Lies. Therefore in this election cycle you have eager liberals only accusing Romney of lying and perky conservatives only accusing Obama of lying. It doesn’t seem to occur to them that both candidates may be lying through their teeth. What’s even less digestible is the idea that democracy itself is founded on the howling lie that those in power have their underlings’ best interests in mind. Even worse is the notion that this amazing colossal lie is founded on a vomit-inducing verity—that your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill idiot can’t handle the truth. The terrifyingly bleak notion that life may be finite and meaningless leads many people to embrace religious, social, and political myths that don’t withstand the slightest logical scrutiny. http://takimag.com/article/the_tenacity_of_mendacity_jim_goad/print#axzz2663a7oMV

A Godless Party Expels the Creator

The authors of the Democratic platform have inadvertently revealed to the world the sea change that has taken place in that party we once knew. For the first time—and in the longest Democratic platform in history, 26,000 words—there was not a single mention of God, the Creator, whom Thomas Jefferson himself, father of the party, proclaimed to be the author of our right to life and liberty. The convention had approved the new platform, but when a firestorm erupted, a panicked Barack Obama hastily ordered “God” reinstated. But when the amendment was offered to the convention by its chairman, Antonio Villaraigosa, the idea of restoring the name of God to the platform was hooted, jeered and booed by half the delegates on the floor, who three times howled, “No!” http://www.vdare.com/articles/a-godless-party-expels-the-creator

An Overdose of Hope

Because Republicans are the only party that makes things racial, the DNC was blacker than a family reunion at the Atlanta Airport Holiday Inn. Democratic strategists are obviously worried about the zero percent of black voters that currently support Romney and decided to aggressively target that zero percent with an endless parade of melanin mouthpieces. Congressmen John Lewis and James Clyburn—both of whom, against all available evidence, claimed they were called “nigger” after the Affordable Health Care Act was passed, spoke in marble-mouthed tones of how they dreamed of a day when it was no longer necessary for black politicians to falsely allege they were called “nigger” to win votes. Emanuel Cleaver II (a black man) of the Congressional Black Caucus (a black organization), who falsely claimed someone purposely spit on him during the same incident where Clyburn and Lewis falsely claimed they were called “nigger,” was also granted a speaking slot: “We are one! We might be black, brown, yella—it does not matter! We are one!” Hmm — one color seems to be missing. http://takimag.com/article/an_overdose_of_hope_takimag/print#axzz25u4i5pal

The Message From Both Parties is That Americans Are Disposable

by Paul Craig Roberts. If political conventions are ranked on a one to ten scale for intelligence, I give the Republican Convention zero and the Democrats one. How can the United States be a superpower when both political parties are unaware of everything that is happening at home and abroad? The Republicans are relying for victory on four years of anti-Obama propaganda and their proprietary programed electronic voting machines. For nearly four years Republican operatives have flooded the Internet with portraits of Obama as a non-US citizen, as a Muslim (even while Obama was murdering Muslims in seven countries), and as a Marxist (put in power by the Israel Lobby, Wall Street, and the military/security complex). Most Republican voters will vote against Obama based on these charges despite the curious fact that no committee in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives held a hearing to determine if Obama is a citizen. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/09/07/the-message-from-both-parties-is-that-americans-are-disposable-paul-craig-roberts/

Israel Lobby vs. Democracy at the DNC in Charlotte

If you thought the Republican national convention was the worst display of narrow-minded chauvinism, belligerent nationalism, and fanatical Israel First-ism, then you didn’t imagine what the Democrats were going to be like. The attacks on Romney for his lack of “economic patriotism” limn the Bush years, albeit in blue. The requisite anti-Chinese rhetoric was on full display: Beijing is the new Soviet Union for both the unions and the neocons. Speaking of neocons: if anyone doubted the stranglehold the Israel lobby has on American politics, then the shenanigans in Charlotte should settle that once and for all. It’s almost a joke — I say almost because the most vital issues of war and peace are at stake. Through some oversight, the Dems forgot to mention in their platform Jerusalem’s alleged status as the capital of Israel — and, heaven forfend, there was no ritual condemnation of Hamas that mentioned the group by name. The Republicans pounced — and the Democrats were quick to respond — not with any kind of defense, but with an instant capitulation. Call re-write! The party scribes got busy, and the “mistake” was fixed faster than you can say “Haim Saban” — but there was the troublesome question of submitting it to the delegates. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, chairing the platform committee, submitted the new plank to the delegates — who promptly voted it down in a voice vote. With ayes and nays about even, the amendment fell short of the two-thirds required for passage, but that didn’t phase machine politician and party hack Villaraigosa, who called for another vote — with the same results. Undeterred, he called for a third vote — and although the results were clearly with the nays, Villaraigosa ruled the plank had passed. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/09/06/shenanigans-in-charlotte/

What Ron Paul Didn’t Say

A Ron Paul speech at the RNC would have been about really doing what Republicans claim they stand for but never actually do: reduce the size and influence of the federal government. And it would have appealed not only to Republicans, but Democrats and independents as well, just as Paul’s campaign had during primary season. This could not be allowed to happen. He could not be allowed to speak. Instead, Ryan, Romney and others made some exhilarating speeches about free markets, smaller government and restoring America’s founding principles, while every detail of their plans completely contradicts those principles. http://communities.washingtontimes.com/neighborhood/reawakening-liberty/2012/sep/6/what-ron-paul-didnt-say/

The Republicans Cross the Rubicon

by Paul Craig Roberts. In Tampa the Republicans wrote off the Ron Paul vote, because they are enamored of power and its gratuitous demonstration. Can people so desirous of power and the thrill of its use be trusted to let go of power when they lose the next election? There are enough presidential executive orders and national security orders, even some signed by the Democrat Obama, that any president can assert them and refuse to face election. Once Rome accepted Julius Caesar’s coup, the Roman Republic was gone. Those who tried to save the Roman Republic by assassinating Caesar failed, because the majority of the legions had gone over to the dictatorship, which promised them more money than the Republic had. Bloc Party: Pantomime and Power in the Imperial System

But the fact is we have only one party, the Imperial Bloc. You may find one faction more distasteful than the other, but both fully support the moral insanity of the militarism outlined above. Whichever faction wins, more people will die horrible deaths — and no one will answer for it, no one will be prosecuted. And the firestorm of hatred and blowback that both factions of the Imperial Bloc keeps stoking against our country will continue to build. So be clear: if you vote for one of these factions, that is what you are supporting. Perhaps you may feel that such a dreadful moral compromise is necessary; that’s your choice. But if so, you should know — and feel — just what that choice means. http://www.chris-floyd.com/component/content/article/1-latest-news/2276-bloc-party-pantomime-and-power-in-the-imperial-system.html

Unquantifiable

Is the Ron Paul Revolution over? Far from it. It’s ready for the next chapter. I am eager to see what will happen next, yet I realize that good things may take time. Persistence is needed to fell a mighty oak. That the stubborn Ron Paulers persist in the absence of the motivational Ron Paul candidacy will be the true test. With that persistence, Ron Paul’s movement will be an engine for growth; it will be a virtual Silicon Valley for political and for the more important non-political activity. http://lewrockwell.com/stevo/stevo19.1.html

Like someone once said, if voting could change things they'd make it illegal. Sometimes the ballot box just isn't enough. jackswar .com

More false hope and more maybe next time. The simple fact is voting hasn't been an option in our or our parents lifetime. Do you think the real rulers of this planet will take their foot from our necks and say Okay we're done you may control your own destiny, we quit and are rich enough. This will never happen. They control the Money, the Media and the Government so what in the world makes you believe that we can play by THEIR RULES and win. You're better off writting to Santa Claus and asking him for a leader then to ever think you can vote one in. And if you somehow still don't believe what I say, well in the next 2 election cycles the Whites in America will be around 40% of the population then it would be impossible to vote our way out of this.

The Republican Convention and the Ron Paul Revolution

The magnitude of eradicating Ron Paul supporters and grassroots Tea Party proponents from representation in a possible Romney administration, forecasts a repeat of the 2008 Senator John McCain debacle. The same warmongering support for the rogue Israeli Zionists is a central part of a Romney capitulation to the dark side. Worry not about the oblique Mormon cult influence, when you have the real deal in the likes of NeoCon cultists like Connie Rice conning the nation once again. http://batr.org/reactionary/090212.html
