Oligarchs for Israel

Sheldon Adelson

Sheldon Adelson

When Pat Buchanan described the American Congress as “Israeli-occupied territory” in the run up to the first Gulf war, he clearly underestimated the problem. Although Sheldon Adelson and Haim Saban didn’t mean to underscore and enlarge Buchanan’s point, this they surely did at the first national conference of a new pro-Israel lobbying group, the Israeli-American Council (IAC), where the two multi-billionaires appeared together on stage. It was an enlightening colloquy. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2014/11/11/oligarchs-for-israel/#.VGN3B5GjJ6Q.email

Lindsey Graham: The Embodiment of Everything Wrong With the GOP

aa-Lindsey Graham - aipac talking points Reading this Stephen Hayes report was good for a laugh: In a recent, hour-long interview, Lindsey Graham said if he is reelected to the Senate in November, he will begin exploring a bid for the presidency. Graham is kidding himself if he thinks he could be the nominee, so I’m not sure what the point of this would be. The likely 2016 field will already be filled with reliably hawkish candidates. Graham distinguishes himself from that field in that he has never encountered a foreign intervention that he didn’t like and by being wildly out of step with most Republicans on immigration. Those will make him an easy target and useful foil for all of the others, who will be able to point at the second “amigo” and say something like, “I want to keep America secure, but I don’t want to bomb every a new country every five minutes as Sen. Graham does.” http://www.theamericanconservative.com/larison/lindsey-graham-the-embodiment-of-everything-wrong-with-the-gop/

Israel Right or Wrong

aa-Dees - Obama on leash Oren’s call to crush Hamas is particularly ironic as it runs directly contrary to American interests. The US intelligence community believes that the group would likely be succeeded by something far more radical. The media, Congress, and Netanyahu all also connive to ignore the deliberate targeting of civilians to include hospitals, schools and private homes by the IDF, producing massive infrastructure damage and increasing the numbers of dead and wounded. The US media did not report how Israelis watching the bombing from their lawn chairs on a hill near Sderot were photographed cheering and applauding each time a target in Gaza exploded. They were also sharing popcorn and one described the event as “just good fun.” Also missing in the discussion is the damage that the conflict does to the United States, which is seen throughout the world as Israel’s puppet, manifested most recently when Washington alone opposed and will presumably veto any United Nations inquiry into possible war crimes connected to the Gaza conflict. America diplomats are supposed to support American interests while the Founding Fathers created an army and navy to defend the United States, not Israel, a fact that seems to have escaped the notice of many in the White House, Congress and in the media. In reality, Washington has no obligation to protect the Netanyahu government in international fora nor is there any treaty obligation to defend Israel or anyone else outside the NATO alliance. Israel is neither an ally nor is its self-defined security a compelling US national interest if one excludes the drumbeat of the domestic lobby that protects it no matter how badly it behaves. http://www.unz.com/pgiraldi/israel-right-or-wrong/

AIPAC is the Only Explanation for America’s Morally Bankrupt Israel Policy

aa-Jewish power - good one The official name for Israel’s latest assault on Gaza is “Operation Protective Edge.” A better name would be “Operation Déjà Vu.” As it has on several prior occasions, Israel is using weapons provided by U.S. taxpayers to bombard the captive and impoverished Palestinians in Gaza. As usual, the U.S. government is siding with Israel, even though most American leaders understand Israel instigated the latest round of violence, is not acting with restraint, and that its actions make Washington look callous and hypocritical in the eyes of most of the world. This Orwellian situation is eloquent testimony to the continued political clout of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) and the other hardline elements of the Israel lobby. There is no other plausible explanation for the supine behavior of the U.S. Congress–including some of its most “progressive” members–or the shallow hypocrisy of the Obama administration, especially those officials known for their purported commitment to human rights. http://www.commondreams.org/views/2014/07/23/aipac-only-explanation-americas-morally-bankrupt-israel-policy

The Moral Universe Will Swing Palestine’s Way

Benjamin Netanyahu Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t the brightest bulb on the Hanukkah bush, but that doesn’t explain why he concluded that he could benefit himself and Israel by launching another assault on Gaza, the third in six years. From any remotely plausible point of view, this was a colossal mistake. It is as if resistance fighters in Gaza snookered him into it. Perhaps they did; they seem shrewd enough, and he seems dumb enough. But “the dead weight of history” and American politics played a role too. Israel has gotten away with murder – and worse — before; many times. Also Netanyahu knew that he could count on influential media in the United States and other enabling countries to mislead, misinform and generally promote the Israeli line. He knew too that he has 535 profiles in pusillanimity in his pocket – 100 in the Senate, and 435 more in the House. Therefore if it seems politically expedient, why wouldn’t he kill again? It was a win-win situation. He would benefit politically and every little bit helps advance the long-term goal he and many other Zionists share — ridding the land of Israel of all but its Jewish inhabitants. http://www.counterpunch.org/2014/08/01/the-moral-universe-will-swing-palestines-way/

10 Most Shameless Ways American Politicians Are Pandering to Israel

aa-Lindsey Graham - w AIPAC talking points good one As Israeli bombs have rained down on the Gaza Strip, the streets of major American cities have witnessed thousands of people coming out to protest the attack. But one place where there is virtually no dissent is the halls of power in the nation’s capitol. Almost every single elected official in Washington has come out in full support of Israel over the past three weeks as the Israeli military pressed a bloody offensive across Gaza that has killed well over 1,500 Palestinians, the vast majority of them civilians, and displaced hundreds of thousands more. With each passing day, Israeli military operations perpetrate new horrors in Gaza. One day it is the bombing of Gaza’s main power plant. The next day it is the shelling of a United Nations school that kills 16 civilians who thought they were in a safe place. But the U.S. political class–save for the exceptions of Reps. Keith Ellison and Jim Moran, who have issued calls for cease-fires–doesn’t say a word of protest. In mid-July, the Senate, by a vote of 100-0, passed a resolution supporting the Israeli assault. The bill did not mention Palestinian deaths at all. http://www.alternet.org/world/10-most-shameless-ways-american-politicians-are-pandering-israel?paging=off&current_page=1#bookmark

Israel’s 155mm Cure For Terrorism

aa-AIPAC - octopus over white house After five decades of patient work, the pro-Israel lobby now gives the U.S. Congress its marching orders on the Mideast. The media in the US and Canada have largely adopted Israel’s narrative about the Mideast and Gaza. Here in New York City, watching the TV news, one would think Gaza is a nest of demented terrorists threatening Israel’s very existence with ‘terror tunnels’ and ‘terror rockets.’ Hamas, which Israel helped create to split Palestinians, is a ‘terror organization.’ Palestinian children are running in front of Israeli 155mm heavy artillery shells to give Israel a bad name. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article39243.htm#.U9Zekj_Lf_o.email

Blockading the Truth: Obama’s Big Lie About Gaza

aa-Dees - Obama on leash Day after day after day, from the commanding heights of our “culture” (if the debased goon show of our public discourse deserves such a word), the Big Lie thunders forth. What’s more, Obama is putting his money (or rather, our money) where his mendacious mouth is, tacking $225 million for Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system into a bill ostensibly meant to deal with the influx of child immigrants. Obama and the Senate Democrats are making political pawns out of these children — most of whom are fleeing Central American hellholes created in no small part by decades of bipartisan military and political backing for repressive oligarchs. (Including, of course, Obama’s support for an oligarch-militarist “regime change” coup in Honduras early in his presidency.) With the new money for Israel’s military, the Democrats hope to sucker the Republicans into voting for the emergency immigration bill (from which they cut $1 billion — hey, you don’t want to coddle those kids!), or else put them in a political bind if the immigrant-hating GOP votes against the bill: “You aren’t supporting plucky little Israel!” http://chris-floyd.com/component/content/article/1-latest-news/2413-blockading-the-truth-obamas-big-lie-about-gaza.html

Israel’s War on American Universities

Benjamin Netanyahu The banning of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Northeastern University in Boston on March 7, along with a university threat of disciplinary measures against some of its members, replicates sanctions being imposed against numerous student Palestinian rights groups across the country. The attacks, and the disturbingly similar forms of punishment, appear to be part of a coordinated effort by the Israeli government and the Israel lobby to blacklist all student groups that challenge the official Israeli narrative. Israel’s heavy-handed reaction to these campus organizations is symptomatic of its increasing isolation and concern about waning American support. The decades-long occupation and seizure of Palestinian land and the massive military assaults against a defenseless population in Gaza that has left hundreds dead, along with growing malnutrition among Palestinian children and enforced poverty, have alienated traditional supporters of Israel, including many young American Jews. Israel, at the same time, has turned into a pariah in the global community. If it were to become devoid of American support, which it largely buys with political campaign contributions funneled through groups such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Israel would be adrift. There are a growing number of banks and other companies, especially in the European Union, joining the boycott movement, which refuses to do business with Israeli concerns in the occupied territories. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking before AIPAC on March 4, surprisingly devoted much of his talk to attacking the nascent BDS movement, which he said stood for “Bigotry, Dishonesty and Shame.” He called for BDS supporters to “be treated exactly as we treat any anti-Semite or bigot.” He warned that “naive and ignorant” people are being recruited as “gullible fellow travelers” in an anti-Semitic campaign. http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/israels_war_on_american_universities_20140316

Israel Lobby AIPAC Down, But Not Out — Yet

aa-AIPAC - octopus over white house The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is still one of the most powerful lobby organizations in the country, but fortunately, it is starting to lose its iron-clad grip on our policymakers. AIPAC lost the fight to stop Chuck Hagel from being confirmed as Secretary of Defense; it lost the push for the US military to attack Syria, and it is losing its effort to derail nuclear talks with Iran. In the old days, AIPAC bragged that it could, within 24 hours, get the signatures of 70 Senators on a napkin if it really wanted to. This year, AIPAC got stuck at 59 cosponsors for its S.1881 sanctions bill–not enough support to force Senator Harry Reid to bring the bill to the floor or to override a threatened presidential veto. Another sign of AIPAC’s waning influence is the fact that this year, at their March 2-4 Policy Conference in Washington DC, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will attend but not President Obama or Vice President Joe Biden – both of whom have spoken in past years. But it’s certainly not time to sound the death knell. AIPAC still has a lot of muscle and will keep trying to flex it. Here’s what we have to look forward to coming out of AIPAC 2014: http://original.antiwar.com/mbenjamin/2014/02/28/israel-lobby-aipac-down-but-not-out-yet/

Stanley Fischer: A Dual U.S.-Israeli Citizen and Pro-Israel Activist as Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve

Grant Smith, writing at Antiwar.com provides an enlightening account of the nomination of Stanley Fischer as Vice-Chair of the Federal Reserve. When I first read that Fischer was a possibility, my only thought was something like “Can’t we find anyone who’s not Jewish to fill a post like that?” After all, the Chairman of Federal Reserve has been Jewish since 1987, Janet Yellen is the present chairman and Yellen’s predecessor as vice chairman was Donald L. Kohn. And one would think that appointing an Israeli citizen —and a high-level one at that (former head of the Israeli Central Bank and likely on a first-name basis with everyone who matters in Israel) — would raise all kinds of red flags about old-fashioned issues like dual loyalty. But there is much more to the story. Fischer, it turns out, will be AIPAC”s man at the Fed. http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2014/01/stanley-fischer-a-dual-u-s-israeli-citizen-and-pro-israel-activist-as-vice-chair-of-the-fed/

Congress Must Not Cede Its War Power to Israel

aa-AIPAC - octopus over white house The American people should know that pending right now in Congress is a bipartisan bill that would virtually commit the United States to go to war against Iran if Israel attacks the Islamic Republic. “The bill outsources any decision about resort to military action to the government of Israel,” Columbia University Iran expert Gary Sick wrote to Sen. Who’s in Charge: Israel or the USA?

Netanyahu was proved wrong the last time he tried something like this. During the last presidential elections, he openly supported Mitt Romney. The idea was that the Republicans were bound to win. The Jewish casino baron, Sheldon Adelson, poured money into their campaign, while at the same time maintaining an Israeli mass-circulation daily for the sole purpose of supporting Netanyahu. Romney “couldn’t lose” – but he did. This should have been a lesson for Netanyahu, but he didn’t absorb it. He is now playing the same game, but for vastly higher stakes. We are now in the middle of the fight, and it is still too early to predict the outcome. The Jewish pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), supported by other Jewish and Evangelical organizations, is marshalling its forces on Capitol Hill. It’s an impressive show. Senator after senator, congressman after congressman comes forward to support the Israeli government against their own president. The same people who jumped up and down like string puppets when Netanyahu made his last speech before both houses of Congress, try to outdo each other in assertions of their undying loyalty to Israel. This is now done in the open, in an exhibition of shamelessness. http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/item/20329-whos-in-charge-israel-or-the-usa#.UpoBw6lGWjQ.email

The Turkey Who Cried Wolf

Here’s a funny coincidence. Just as Netanyahu is hyperventilating against the interim deal Uncle Sam has struck with Iran in Geneva, a poster campaign by the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Berlin intended to identify aging Germans who might have participated in Nazi crimes has produced more than 3,000 posters in cities all over Germany. “Late But Not Too Late” is what the signs say, with a concentration camp in the background. Mind you, the war has been over since 1945, the guilty ones have been punished, and reparations in the hundreds of billions of dollars have been paid to the families and descendants of the victims. A Moment of Great Danger — And Great Promise

We are entering a very difficult and potentially perilous period: the President is trying to take US foreign policy in a different direction, but he’s running into huge obstacles not the least of which is Israel’s powerful lobby in the US. I’m not exaggerating, not even a little bit, when I say that anything could happen in the next few months – yes, anything – and warning my readers to prepare themselves for the worst and the best. The worst – the collapse of the peace negotiations with Tehran and the prospect of war with Iran. The best – the President manages to get over the obstacles put in his path by the Israel lobby and get a finalized agreement. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2013/11/24/a-moment-of-great-danger/

A Government Answerable to No One

Israel gets away with abusing its privileged position because the very people we Americans elect and pay to protect us mostly believe it is safer to go along with perceived Israeli interests than to oppose them. As they are fixated on the two year election cycle they are not terribly interested in the long term consequences of their actions. If Israel murders an American or two in the course of “defending” itself, congress and the White House will always look the other way and sometimes even praise the killers, as it did with Rachel Corrie and Furkan Dogan. But Israel is only partially to blame for the cynical political maneuvering that led a president to secretly permit an agency dedicated to national security to provide raw information on American citizens to another government with which it is not in any actual alliance and that has a history of behaving irresponsibly. Indeed, the Jonathan Pollard and Ben-Ami Kadish espionage cases, the Lavon Affair, and the attack on the USS Liberty all suggest that Israel will not hesitate to harm the United States and even kill American citizens if it thinks it will gain something by so doing. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2013/09/25/a-government-answerable-to-no-one/#.UkQ0FLPGQcA.email

Defeating AIPAC Starts With Syria

If Congress eventually approves the Obama program, now temporarily on hold, it will be because it fears AIPAC more than it does the voters in this country. That is not to say that there are not other constituencies that want to attack Syria for other reasons, but the critical component that will ultimately tip the scales towards war is the influence wielded by AIPAC. Which means that if Syria is actually attacked by the United States it will and should rightly be regarded as AIPAC’s war, a conflict which could also be fairly described as a victory of a foreign interest group over the American people. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2013/09/11/defeating-aipac-starts-with-syria/

AIPAC in Full Court Press on Syria

America’s largest pro-Israel lobby has deployed its organization in Congress to push for the president’s war authorization against Syria, according to a senior official with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) who called the effort a “full court press.” Earlier Tuesday, AIPAC issued a strong statement supporting the president’s call for congressional authorization of limited airstrikes against Syria. A senior official at AIPAC tells The Daily Beast that the organization’s leadership received a phone call from a senior White House official on Saturday, after the president’s surprise announcement that he would be seeking congressional authorization for a Syria strike, asking what AIPAC’s position would be on a congressional resolution. How AIPAC Rules

Last week the Senate passed Resolution 65, mandating a new round of sanctions against Iran and promising to support Israel if it should choose to launch a unilateral war. The bill contradicted explicit US policy in a number of areas: it imposed secondary penalties on US allies; it lowered the bar for military action to Israel’s preferred language of “nuclear capability” rather than acquisition of a nuclear weapon; and it interferes with the attempt to reach a diplomatic resolution to the nuclear impasse at a delicate time. No wonder Secretary of State John Kerry implored Congress not to pass the bill when he testified before the Senate Foreign relations committee last month. Nevertheless, the Senate bill came to a vote on May 22, and the result – in a roll call vote – was 99-0 in favor of the bill. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article35151.htm#.UayIrb3yGno.email

Gatekeeping for Zion

Americans can either confront the ugly realities of what has been going on for the past twelve years or they can pretend that what they are seeing is not really there. The gatekeepers are understandably concerned lest Washington’s next war be blamed on American Jews so it is far better to suggest against all evidence that Israel is a pawn of American imperialism or that recent wars have been about oil or capitalist exploitation. The reality is that if progressives (and the rest of us) really want to stop a proxy war against Syria followed by a catastrophic conflict with Iran we have to take the blinkers off and be willing to confront Jewish groups like AIPAC and the ADL directly and persistently. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2013/05/09/gatekeeping-for-zion-2/#.UYz4Cjvtoaw.email

Boston Bombing Aftermath: David Sirota and Ben Shapiro Claim Jews are Not Part of White America

David Sirota

Of course the media would have been ecstatic if they could report that a “White supremacist” had done it—”White supremacist” being the term of art routinely employed by the media for any White who dares to think that Whites have interests and will suffer huge costs by becoming a minority. The story would play into the common stereotype among many on the left that any White person is a potential “Nazi” who could rise up and murder innocent people. Which leads into the main point: Sirota discussed his column in an online debate with Ben Shapiro of Breitbart.com. So we are treated to a debate between two Jews representing the very narrow limits of respectable discussion on issues related to race and multiculturalism. Former AIPAC staffer Sirota thinks that America is a nasty, xenophobic place (unlike Israel whose latest bits of ethnic chauvinism include proposing an AIPAC-approved visa waiver program with the U.S. that would exclude Arab-Americans and insisting that France discriminate against Blacks and Arabs as baggage handlers for a state visit by Shimon Peres). http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2013/04/david-sirota-and-ben-shapiro-jews-are-not-part-of-white-america/

Goading Gullible America Into War

Obama has been goaded into proclaiming that though America contained an evil empire that spanned 13 time zones and possessed thousands of nukes, containment cannot work with Iran. Why not? Because the ayatollah, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the mullahs, we are solemnly instructed, are religious fanatics who could easily opt for committing collective suicide should they get a bomb — by using that bomb on us. This, of course, is to attribute to Iran’s leaders an insanity they have never exhibited. Not in memory has Iran started a war. Saddam attacked Iran, not the other way around. Same Old Stuff From AIPAC

There has been considerable speculation that AIPAC’s power to corrupt and misdirect the American political system might be waning, that the struggle over the nomination of Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense revealed all the ugliness of the Israel Lobby. I have never quite bought into that argument even though it is true that the attempt to derail the nomination of a qualified former senator demonstrated clearly that U.S. foreign and defense policies are being judged by many in the media and the punditry as well as, to our shame, in congress solely in terms of how they impact on Israel. It seemed to me that the Israel Lobby is too firmly ensconced in the places that matter to be vulnerable to thirty days of scrutiny. The American public has already forgotten about Hagel, if it was ever interested at all, and there is no sign that any of the demagogic senators – Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, James Imhofe, John McCain, and Marco Rubio among others – will in any way pay a political price for their placing Israel first. AIPAC and Congress Sustain Iranian Nuclear Program

With this situation of discernible but reversible progress at the negotiating table, the worst thing that anyone—especially anyone who supposedly favors restricting Iran’s nuclear program to preclude an Iranian nuclear weapon—could do at this moment would be anything that stokes the Iranian suspicions about true U.S. intentions. But that is what is being done right now in Congress, with two draft measures in particular. One is a bill—a kind that members by now could write in their sleep—to pile still more sanctions on Iran. Probably even worse is a Senate resolution introduced by Lindsey Graham and Robert Menendez that for most part is just another expression of Congressional love for Israel but that ends with a clause that gives a green light for Israel to launch a war against Iran. http://nationalinterest.org/blog/paul-pillar/aipac-congress-sustain-iranian-nuclear-program-8173#.UTII3cI66cU.email

Hagel In The Dock; AIPAC Dog Bites Obama Nominee

Looking at the various comments Hagel made over the years, the positions he took, and his votes, it is difficult to see how he could have been construed by anyone to the left of the late and unlamentable Meir Kahane as hostile to Israel as a country. He steadfastly supported it on virtually every issue. He continued to voice support for the moribund “two-state solution,” which has been a dead issue for at least the last 300,000 Jewish settlers, if not from the outset. Never did he suggest witholding aid from Israel for its assorted transgressions, much less imposing sanctions on it, but endorsed an approach completely congruent with the positions of moderate-to-liberal pro-Israel Jewish groups such as the Israel Policy Forum (IPF). His actual lapses were four: (1) he remarked that Israel treated Palestinians like caged animals — true, of course, but one of many unspeakable truths in Washington; (2) he referred to the leverage in Washington of the Jewish lobby, not simply the Israel lobby — also true, as manifested in the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, of which AIPAC is but one of forty-nine organizations under its umbrella, enhanced by shoals of smaller organizations and individuals; (3) he saw no reason to rush head-long into a war with Iran when there was no hard evidence at all that its actions or intentions posed a threat to anyone else — perfectly reasonable by any standard, and a position shared by the current U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), among many others; and (4) he rejected AIPAC’s core principle on Capitol Hill, which is that U.S. senators and representatives should always act as if they were Israeli senators and representatives on any and all matters of even the slightest interest to Israel, and refused to blindly endorse AIPAC’s episodic resolutions circulating on Capitol Hill. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article34035.htm#.USYt9e4vSLk.email

Hagel in History’s Cockpit

The news that Obama will go ahead and nominate Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense is exciting beyond measure. No matter how the battle over his confirmation goes, it will be educational and point the country in a better direction. To have capitulated without a fight to Bill Kristol and Jennifer Rubin—the twin nerve-centers of the anti-Hagel opposition—would have signaled to the world a neutering of Obama’s presidency by the Israel lobby, a terrible result for the president and the country as a whole. http://www.theamericanconservative.com/hagel-in-historys-cockpit/

Was Petraeus Brought Down by His Secret Love Life or By AIPAC?

In March 2010, when Petraeus was still head of the US Central Command, he gavetestimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee which included this observation about one of the “challenges to security and stability” faced by the United States: “The enduring hostilities between Israel and some of its neighbors present distinct challenges to our ability to advance our interests in the AOR [Area of Operations]. Israeli-Palestinian tensions often flare into violence and large-scale armed confrontations. The conflict foments anti-American sentiment, due to a perception of U.S. favoritism for Israel. Arab anger over the Palestinian question limits the strength and depth of U.S. partnerships with governments and peoples in the AOR and weakens the legitimacy of moderate regimes in the Arab world. Meanwhile, al-Qaeda and other militant groups exploit that anger to mobilize support. The conflict also gives Iran influence in the Arab world through its clients, Lebanese Hizballah and Hamas.” Abe Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, one of the leading American Zionist lobby groups, was so alarmed he issued a statement condemning Petraeus’ testimony. http://desertpeace.wordpress.com/2012/11/10/was-petraeus-brought-down-by-his-secret-love-life-or-by-aipac/

Israel Dominates U.S. Election: A Reflection of Jewish Supremacist Power

Anyone who labors under the illusion that the upcoming U.S. presidential election is actually about Americas’ future, need only read the major news networks’ coverage of the “issues” to see that it is all actually about Israel—and which of the two candidates is the most subservient to the Zionist state. The blanket coverage given by the Jewish Supremacist controlled media to Obama and Romney’s “stance on Israel and Iran” would make one think that there is no economic crisis, no foreign wars, no mass unemployment, no immigration crisis or anything else going on in America. All that matters, it seems, is Iran, Israel and Jews. http://www.davidduke.com/?p=36482

The Israel Lobby and the Road to War

Israel is like a spoiled child who has grown stronger, more willful, and outright dangerous under the nurturing care of its US parent – a parent who has lost all authority and can no longer restrain its juvenile delinquent progeny. The US-Israeli “special relationship” has destabilized the Middle East and made war much more likely than it would be otherwise. Israel can act in the knowledge that there will be no consequences for its actions, that it will not be held accountable or blamed – in public – in any way for what follows. This, in turn, has energized extremist movements inside Israel, who demand more and yet more of the United States – and come to resent Uncle Sam for supposedly restraining the Israelis from achieving what they believe is their just due. The response is very far from gratitude, if we take Netanyahu’s recent behavior as indicative. We pour billions every year into Israel, with economic and military aid, and with Congress in their back pocket no American president dares threaten them with an aid cutoff. The result is that we have created – and empowered – a monster, one that may one day turn on us. Indeed, Israel has already turned on us if we define that as brazen interference in American politics. The Israel lobby, which wields plenty of money and political clout, has so distorted the national discourse on foreign policy issues that it is no longer possible for any politician to challenge the course we have taken. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/10/11/the-israel-lobby-and-the-road-to-war/

The Viral Skinnydipping Scandal, and the Real Story

We did a lot of reporting on the American Israel Education Foundation, a branch of AIPAC, last year– showing that good liberal Jewish philanthropists who endowed halls at Princeton and Harvard, and ballets and art museums, were also doing their utmost to corrupt American politicians on Israel policy. They’ve succeeded. The fact that the press can look on a midnight swim as more important than the obeisance of the Congress to the Israel lobby– a “private factfinding tour,” in the narcotized words of the Washington Post– shows the degree to which the entire American establishment has been converted to the Zionist cause. http://mondoweiss.net/2012/08/the-viral-skinnydipping-story-and-the-real-scandal.html

House Passes Stealth Legislation

The House bill basically provides Israel with a blank check drawn on the U.S. taxpayer to maintain its “qualitative military edge” over all of its neighbors combined. It requires the White House to prepare an annual report on how that superiority is being maintained. The resolution passed on May 9 by a vote of 411–2 on a “suspension of the rules,” which is intended for non-controversial legislation requiring little debate and a quick vote. A number of congressmen spoke on the bill, affirming their undying dedication to the cause of Israel. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas was the only one who spoke out against it, describing it as “one-sided and counterproductive foreign policy legislation. This bill’s real intent seems to be more saber-rattling against Iran and Syria.” Paul also observed that “this bill states that it is the policy of the United States to ‘reaffirm the enduring commitment of the United States to the security of the State of Israel as a Jewish state.’ However, according to our Constitution, the policy of the United States government should be to protect the security of the United States, not to guarantee the religious, ethnic, or cultural composition of a foreign country.” Paul voted “no” and was joined by only one other representative, John Dingell of Michigan, who represents a large Muslim constituency. It is interesting to note what exactly the bill pledges the American people to do on behalf of Israel. It obligates the United States to veto resolutions critical of Israel, to provide such military support “as is necessary,” to pay for the building of an anti-missile system, to provide advanced “defense” equipment (including refueling tankers, which are offensive), to give Israel special munitions (i.e., bunker-busters, which are also offensive), to forward deploy more U.S. military equipment to Israel, to offer the Israeli air force more training and facilities in the U.S., to increase security- and advanced-technology-program cooperation, and to extend loan guarantees and expand intelligence-sharing (including highly sensitive satellite imagery). http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2012/05/16/house-passes-stealth-legislation/

Israel’s Willing Executioners: AIPAC Invades Washington

From March 4th to March 9th, 2012, 13,000 militant Israel Firsters, took over “political Washington” and imposed a foreign regime’s (Israel) political agenda to the rousing applause and appreciation of their captive vassal US legislators and executives who crowded the halls and platforms groveling for the imperious nods of their visiting Israeli overlords. The annual meeting of the American [sic] Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is the most outrageous public display of Zionist pro-Israeli power as it shapes US foreign policy. The sole purpose of AIPAC is to ensure Israel ’s unchallenged military and political power over a huge region from North Africa to the Persian Gulf . Over three quarters of the US Congress members paraded themselves before the AIPAC, as well as President Obama and Vice President Biden and any high ranking Cabinet members in any way related to US foreign policy (Secretary of State Clinton, Secretary of Defense Panetta included). Lobbying for War

There has been considerable discussion of the meaning, or lack thereof, of the apparent difference of opinion between the United States and Israel over both the desirability and the possible timing of going to war with Iran. Those Americans who still revere the Constitution and the advice of the Founding Fathers should rightly be appalled that a war is even being considered on behalf of a small client state with which the United States has no treaty obliging such intervention. War with Iran would undoubtedly follow the usual pattern, being authorized by the White House without the constitutionally mandated declaration of war by Congress and likely developing out of an evolving situation in which Israel is being given a free pass to initiate the conflict. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2012/03/14/lobbying-for-war/

Obama at AIPAC

Obama is clearly dragging his heels on Iran. What the New York Times called Obama’s “defensive speech” at AIPAC today reiterated U.S. commitment to diplomacy and sanctions, while at the same time emphasizing his record of strong support for Israel. But it’s not going to be enough to please his masters. The Lobby wants the U.S. to go to war and they don’t seem to want to wait even until after the election to get it. Obama, doubtless thinking of the disastrous effects on the economy and therefore his chances in the election, would at least prefer to wait. Perhaps I’m naive, but I believe him when he says he doesn’t want to preside over yet more dead and wounded Americans returning from the Middle East. What is being done in Gaza, the world’s largest open-air prison, is a pale reflection of what is slowly happening to the rest of us. It is a window into the rise of the global security state, our new governing system that the political philosopher Sheldon Wolin calls “inverted totalitarianism.” It is a reflection of a world where the powerful are not bound by law, either on Wall Street or in the shattered remains of the countries we invade and occupy, including Iraq with its hundreds of thousands of dead. And one of the greatest purveyors of this demented ideology of violence for the sake of violence, this flagrant disregard for the rule of domestic and international law, is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC. http://poorrichards-blog.blogspot.com/2012/03/aipac-works-for-1-percent.html

Netanyahu’s War

American reluctance to go along with such hysterics and launch a third war in the Middle East has the Israelis in a lather. He surely named Gen. Yet Another War For Israel

Voltaire’s wit often illuminates truth. Consider this revealing “thought” as expressed recently in Alert, the voice of AIPAC to its membership: “Some Americans believe if the Israelis strike Iran, the U.S. will pay the political costs anyway, so it would be better for the Americans to do the job and do it properly. Their clock is a bit different from the one the Israelis hear. Because of their vastly superior firepower, the Americans could strike Iran later, more devastatingly and more sustainably.” How just is it for AIPAC’s mouthpiece to declare that America should “devastate” Iran because it has “vastly more firepower” than Israel and could “do a better job” and “do it properly,” as though this were a clean-up “job” of a waste dump and not an illegal invasion of a member country of the United Nations that has done nothing under international law to threaten the U.S. much less attack it, while the Israeli government and its IDF look on happily content that it is American boys and girls suffering the consequences of the unwarranted attacks and not Jewish boys and girls? Has it come to this, that unnamed Israeli spokespeople, voicing AIPAC’s policies, determine what nation the U.S. should invade without consultation with the representatives of the American people? http://www.countercurrents.org/cook060212.htm

AIPAC Economic Warfare Also Targets U.S.

The report — still not fully released — is a treasure-trove of market insights, production costs, U.S. industry lobbying positions and internal corporate data unobtainable from any legitimate source. Israel and its foreign agents — with the purloined data and ill-gotten, unreciprocated market access — have been able to create a captive U.S. market for up to 40 percent of Israel’s total exports. Meanwhile, American exporters continue to complain about being locked out of Israel’s market. Other illicit acts followed the theft of trade data. According to another recently-released secret document, an audit conducted by the U.S. State Department’s Sherman Funk, increased preferential access to sensitive U.S. technology enabled Israel to freely copy and resell it to the highest bidder. This was enabled by U.S. government infighting at the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv. Biggest Losers in Palestine Veto? The American People

If the Palestinian application for United Nations full membership actually takes place Friday and the United States uses its Security Council veto to stop the process, it will be the final step in a predictable and preventable tragedy playing out. Some are arguing that Washington might actually abstain, thereby gaining considerable favorable sentiment from much of the world and also sending a signal to Israel that there are limits to the bilateral relationship. But it is far more likely that President Barack Obama, who has stated over and over that he will protect Israel in international forums, will not flinch when he calls on Susan Rice to cast the fatal vote. The Names of the Dozens of Congressmen Currently Being Indoctrinated in Israel

AIPAC Zionists

The habitual pilgrimage to kiss the ring of the “Khazar conspiracy” is upon us once again. The late great and trustworthy friend Alan Stang sheds light on the political movement called Zionism. “Presumably the Jews in Israel are Zionists, or they would leave. But there are only a few million Israelis. In the United States, there are scores of millions of Christians in mainline churches who are Zionists and who support Israel as staunchly as any Israeli, with funds as well as prayer.” He continues, “Consider that tens of thousands of Jews not only are not Zionists; they fervently oppose Zionism. They believe that Zionism is condemned by Holy Scripture.” Within this context, the only way to view the American Israel Public Affairs Committee is as a pressure group that favors the political interests of a foreign nation at the expense of our own nation. The hordes of heretic Christian Zionists disgrace themselves because they cling to a false interpretation of scripture and are oblivious to the best self-interests of their own country. http://etherzone.com/2011/sart060611.shtml

But whatever else is true, even these minimal applications of presidential pressure open up the discussion about our Israel policy wider than it’s ever been, trigger very rare criticisms of the Israeli government in U.S. political discourse (from the President’s loyalists, angry at Netanyahu), and shine a much-needed light on the multiple ways that U.S. policy toward Israel is so harmful to the national interest (aside from being morally unjust). Regardless of Obama’s intentions here — and that remains unclear — a prerequisite to any meaningful change in U.S./Israel policy is the defeat of those who want to suppress the debate entirely. Those are the people now wildly demonizing the President for his tepid Middle East speech, and it’s why it is incumbent upon anyone who desires real change in this area to defend him from those attacks. At the very least, the notion that defying the Israeli Government is some sort of supreme evil — and, conversely, that loyalty to that government is a solemn duty — needs to be demolished. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article28169.htm

The Lobby Takes the Offensive

In America, the power of the Israel lobby is much greater than at any time in the past, and certainly since the 1967 war. We are faced, here in this country, with the extraordinary spectacle of a US President confronting a foreign leader with a list of reasonable requests – negotiation in good faith, the abandonment of encroaching “settlements,” an end to the arbitrary humiliations endured by a people under occupation – and the leaders of the opposition are taking the side of the foreign leader. This from a party that revels in its alleged super-“patriotism”! Romney, Huckabee, and the whole Fox network team went into overdrive, following the President’s Mideast speech, flaying him for “betraying” Israel. Fox News even ran a story warning that “Jewish donors” would not back the President’s reelection campaign on account of his supposedly “new” stance. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2011/05/22/the-lobby-2/

AIPAC Zionists – The Archenemy of the American Nation

The only way to view the American Israel Public Affairs Committee is as a pressure group that favors the political interests of a foreign nation at the expense of our own nation. Heckling Inside AIPAC Conference Will Sabotage Free Speech

Tomorrow, Friday, May 20, protest by 100 liberal American anti-Zionist organizations will take place in New York City during Prime Minister Netanyahu’s visit. (Unfortunately, 90-year-old Helen Thomas, who was scheduled to speak, has cancelled, preferring to report on the event.) This week a video was posted on YouTube of the kind of behavior I hope does not occur tomorrow. (Watch video Youtube) It shows anti-Zionists, strategically placed in a Christian’s United for Israel meeting, repeatedly disrupting Pastor John Hagee’s speech. Such disruption, which amounts to communication terrorism, is viewed by the protestors as a triumph. It is not. The whole idea of civilization is that opposing opinions, right or wrong, can at least be expressed publicly without interruption. If supplied with accurate representations of such ideas, individuals, endowed with reason by their Creator, are given at least a fighting chance to determine whether such concepts are true or false. Yet, if a speaker’s very sentences are sabotaged through heckling, it is not their ideas that are weakened but 5000 years of civilization. Although it is primarily liberals who will be protesting tomorrow (not my primary audience), it is crucial that all in the burgeoning anti-Zionist movement insist that the lines of communication be kept open for foe as well as friend. http://www.truthtellers.org/alerts/hecklinginsideaipacwillsabotage.html

Challenging AIPAC’s Abuse of Taxpayers Money

The Arab democratic spring, striving to end authoritarian rule and establish freedoms and social justice, has not been welcome by all. Israel and its main lobby in the U.S., the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), for instance, appear to have been caught off guard and visibly disturbed by the seemingly irreversible transformations that these uprisings promise to bring about in the Arab world and, to an extent, the world at large. Having stood on the wrong side of history during the Tunisian and then the Egyptian revolutions, supporting the despots and authoritarian regimes against the people, Israel has a lot to lose from the democratic winds of change in the region. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article28090.htm

U.S. Needs its Own ‘Arab Spring’ to Counter Power of Pro-Israel Lobby

We spent a lot of time in the Middle East this year, during what history will surely regard as the equivalent of a seismic earthquake. In country after country, people rose up and either forced from power tyrants propped up by the United States or put them on the defensive, promising reform after reform in the vain hope of convincing their constituents to go back to sleep. But the “Arab Street” is awakened from its slumber now, and there is no turning back. The revolt that swept through Tunisia and Egypt, and that is continuing now through Yemen, Libya, Syria and Bahrain, should be a wake-up call for both the U.S. government and the remaining dictators. One of the most glaring examples of how U.S. policy is out of step is its unwavering support for Israel, even in the face of increasingly rash and alienating behavior – such as the ongoing expansion of its illegal settlements and the murder of nine Turkish internationals in last year’s Free Gaza Flotilla. As we saw recently in the demonstration of Egyptians in front of the Israeli embassy in Cairo, human rights and freedom for Palestinians are core concerns for Arabs. Once the U.S.-friendly rulers are deposed, or even if they barely retain power, the people’s empathy towards the Palestinians will have to be addressed. A knee-jerk defense of Israel by the U.S. government – or by Arab governments – will become increasingly untenable. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article27978.htm

Washington Showdown with AIPAC

When former AIPAC director Steven J. Rosen interpreted the contents of stolen classified US national defense information to Washington Post reporter Glenn Kessler in 2004, he peddled it as proof that Iran was engaged in “total war against the United States.” Far from an investigative journalism scoop, Rosen’s propaganda was not only false, but another small component of AIPAC’s larger drive to militarily entangle the US with Iran. Mirroring the trajectory of Enron — another secretive corporation that suddenly collapsed — this lobby has racked up such an unbroken string of challenges to US rule of law that concerned Americans are again gathering to confront AIPAC on a massive scale on May 21-24 in Washington. More than a creative protest during AIPAC’s yearly conference, participants are attending workshops and learning circles to discover how to effectively expose, confront, and roll back AIPAC’s most secretive, dangerous, and costly initiatives. Participants will also network and leverage their contacts with activists from other states working to create lasting peace in the Middle East while reinstituting government accountability at home. Helen Thomas Will Lead New York City Gaza Protest

My fervent prayer to the Almighty over the past year has been that He would energize 90-year-old former White House reporter Helen Thomas to keep speaking boldly against Jewish supremacism. Thomas has high visibility and less to lose than most public figures, so she can warn like few others. God answers prayer! Some 100 pro-Gaza liberal groups will protest Prime Minister Netenyahu’s address to AIPAC May 21-24. Their New York conference is called “Move Over AIPAC.” Feisty Helen Thomas will deliver the key-note address and actually lead the mass protest! Across the Atlantic, more voices are being raised against Israel. The Jewish state’s economic, humanitarian, and military reprisals against 1.5 million Gazans continue to bleed the Mideast. Nearly 1,000 peace activists from many countries are inspired to launch their own “D-day” peace invasion, “Freedom Flotilla 2,” with 20 ships, to force Israel to end its occupation and quarantine. Thus we see that a merciful God is raising powerful forces of conscience to resist the ever encroaching mega-power of Israel and Jewish supremacism. Zionism’s ultimate goal, as the Bible prophesies, is to dominate the nations. This is the anti-Christ new world order which Scripture calls Babylon the Great. http://www.truthtellers.org/alerts/HelenTWillLeadGazaProtest.html

Imperial Jews and International Jews

Within Israel, what was ostensibly the humble pursuit of a Jewish homeland has metastasized into a worldview and political agenda that is imperial and explicitly supremacist. Meanwhile, the Jews scattered throughout the nations of the West have become secular and barren exemplars of the leftist counterculture that is hostile to the traditional people and culture of America and the West. They’re too smart to believe in their God, too busy to visit the synagogue and go through the motions, and disinclined to marry among their own. They’re choking on the vices of Marxism, atheism, humanism, and liberalism — eating their own dog food. AIPAC Bares All to Quash Lawsuit

On Nov. 8, 2010, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) filed a massive 260-page motion in the District of Columbia Superior Court. It asks Judge Erik Christian to dismiss former AIPAC employee Steven J. Rosen’s $20 million defamation suit. In October the court dismissed all counts of the March 2009 lawsuit except for Rosen’s claim of harm over AIPAC statements to the press that he did not uphold its standards of conduct. Rosen and AIPAC have – until now – abstained from filing damaging information about the internal workings of AIPAC in court. AIPAC’s willingness to publicly air some extremely sordid and revealing content to get the remaining count thrown out before an alternative dispute resolution hearing begins in December is a sign that AIPAC is now fighting for its life, or – as one former AIPAC attorney put it – “reason for being.” If Rosen proves in court that AIPAC has long handled classified information while lobbying for Israel, the worn public pretense that AIPAC is anything but a stealth extension of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs – from which it emerged in 1951 – will end forever. http://original.antiwar.com/smith-grant/2010/11/14/aipac-bares-all-to-quash-lawsuit/

In a completely unrelated area, does anyone have any idea of how long it would take a couple of vultures to dispose of a human body? You know, say the body of an unemployed, former politician who was homeless and due to his betrayal of his fellow countrymen, couldn't get a job doing anything - not even cleaning public toilets, and eventually starved to death. Minutes? Hours? A couple of days, maybe? And, can vultures tear away the clothes that the body might be wearing in order to reach the fleshy slivers of meat? Oh, and I know from what I've read about vultures, they normally have a pretty strong constitution and can consume rancid road kill that would sicken any other carnivore. But, here, we are talking about politicians - which I'm sure would be an exception to this rule. So, does anyone know if these vultures would be in any physical danger, from a gastrointestinal point of view, in such a scenario? I'm kind of an animal and nature lover, and that's the main reason I am concerned about this question.

From Rabbi Yosef to Karl Marx

In case the Goyim cannot find a purpose in their life, Israeli senior Sephardi Rabbi Ovadia Yosef is there to help them out. In his Saturday sermon Rabbi Yosef revealed that the sole purpose of Gentiles is to serve Jews.
“Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world.” The Rabbi was also kind enough to provide the Goyim with some precise tasks. “Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat.
That is why gentiles were created.” I guess that it is about time the friends of Israel in Western politics started to fully comprehend their role in our Judified universe — AIPAC and the Conservatives’ Friends of Israel do indeed, have a crucial function: They are there to ‘help’ our politicians grasp why they ‘were created’. http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/gilad-atzmon-from-rabbi-yosef-to-marx.html

I also wondered, if I were to dig up the sales statistics on armored vests, are these Christian Zionists breaking any sales records for purchases? Goldwater: God, yes, way too powerful. Kolbe: Has that had some detrimental effects on what comes out of Congress? Goldwater: Yes. See, we have no treaty with Israel, but we have pledged ourselves to go to war if she has to go to war. And there are some of the actions that some of the Israeli groups take that, at times, I’ve felt would hasten that day when we have to live up to our promise. A Bipartisan Look at the Israel Lobby

If the Bipartisan Policy Center is seriously interested in examining threats against the United States rather than starting new wars or persecuting a religious group, I would suggest that they set up a new task force and take a long hard look at the actions of the Israel Lobby. They could start by talking to Ross, Rademaker, Rubin, and the two Makovskys since they are members in good standing of the Lobby and are readily available, probably sitting somewhere down the hall. Explain to them how United States security has been compromised by the tie that binds with Israel and how its institutions have been corrupted. Suggest to them that official Washington insofar as it relates to the Middle East is an AIPAC-run enterprise. Describe to them the more than $120 billion that Israel has received directly from the US taxpayer and discuss with them the many spies for Israel that have avoided prosecution because of government fear to cross AIPAC. And then there is AIPAC itself. You might explore with Dennis Ross why he thinks AIPAC should not be registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act even though it describes itself on its website as “America’s Pro-Israel Lobby.” And you can chat a bit in a friendly way about how it works through intimidation and a large number of pro-Israel PACs to control Congress. And then there are the Israel-firsters in the media, the gatekeepers of truth and managers of the narrative. Names like Will, Krauthammer, Horowitz, Zuckerman, Ignatius, Thomas, Kristol, Friedman, and Brooks come to mind but there are many, many more. And remind them of the stories that just won’t go away, like Senator Arlen Specter trying to make everyone forget how Israel illegally obtained uranium from a plant in Pennsylvania owned by one Zalman Shapiro and used it to make bombs. Or the nagging accounts of Israeli spying, the most aggressive effort to steal American secrets by any country considered to be friendly. http://original.antiwar.com/giraldi/2010/09/15/a-bipartisan-look-at-the-israel-lobby/

"Little" Israel? You're kidding, right? Israel's only current likely enemy for a land battle is Syria. Syria possesses more main battle tanks - 4750, but of these only 1600 are modern T-72s, while the rest are obsolete T-55s (2150) and T-62s (1000). Of Israel's 3010 tanks, 1030 are the very modern Merkava type, with the remainder older vehicles (M-60s, M-48s, Centurions, etc.) that have all been extensively modernized and upgraded. For a vivid example of the lack of effectiveness of T-55s and T-62s against modern tanks, the reader is referred to the shattering losses in tanks of these types suffered by the Iraqi army in the 100-hour ground war of 1991 (this fighting also showed that even the armor on the T-72 was not up to the job of defeating Western armor-piercing shot, even at very long ranges.) Israeli reservists are also well-trained, and regularly participate in realistic military exercises to ensure that their training remains fresh, unlike their counterparts in the Syrian reserves.

James in U.S.A

"Little Israel" has the most modern and powerful military in the region and is just as 'racist' as anyone else if not more so. The fact that Uncle Sam is watching Israel's back is the main reason we're so hated by much of the world and why we're in places like Irag today. I say let Iran nuke Israel. The world would be better off!

The Lobby vs. America

AIPAC is dangerous for many reasons. For one, it’s not a lobby group in the conventional sense – meaning a group of well-paid lobbyists harassing US Congressmen with telephone calls with the hope of advancing the agenda of their benefactors (in this case, the state of Israel). The pro-Israel lobby has actually grown and morphed into a political body that is embedded within all branches of the US government, as well as the media, academia and elsewhere. It is no secret that the neo-conservative cliques of politicians who engineered, steered and to an extent continue to influence US war policy are in fact a mere component of the same ‘lobby’. http://www.counterpunch.org/baroud04022010.html

And the truly amazing part was that the America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was so confident of the outcome that it didn’t even bother to hide very much of what it was doing, hardly deigning to engage in its usual clandestine arm twisting and slipped under the door “position papers.” It immediately issued a public statement slamming the White House, asserting that “The Obama Administration’s recent statements regarding the US relationship with Israel are a matter of serious concern. AIPAC calls on the Administration to take immediate steps to defuse the tension with the Jewish State.” It then unleashed its friends in Congress and the media. Exactly, James! If irrational behavior is a "recent" development, was the napalm, rockets, gunfire and torpedo attack on USS Liberty in international waters in 1967 evidence of an earlier, rational behavior? That sort of thing can be expected of nations like North Korea (USS Pueblo), but an allegedly Westernized nation - one we massively subsidize - ought to be held to somewhat higher standards.

President Obama is in 'good' with the Jewish/Liberal power structure, just like all the rest of those in Washington. Obama, who has expressed sympathy for the Palestinians' plight in the past was nevertheless unequivocal in his support for Israel when speaking before an AIPAC audience in Chicago in 2007. There may be some degree of difference in their support for Israel, but these traitors in our government know that if they cross the line with Israel and AIPAC their political careers are over. What does this say for our sovereignty as a nation? And let's remember that these Jews can't do their mischief alone. The Jewish Lobby includes another important group of gentiles other than our so-called leaders in Washington, and these are the Christian Zionist. Christian Zionist may be the Jewish state's ultimate strategic asset. " Or as Michael Freund, former director of communications for Benjamin Netanyahu, wrote in 2006, "Thank God for the Christian Zionist. Like it or not, the future of the relationship between Israel and the U.S. may very well hinge far less on America's Jews than on its Christians." These Christians are operating hundreds of organizations across America in support of Israel and are working hand in hand with the enemies of our people . Religous freedom and the Christian religion itself should be protected within an American Nationalist State, as it has been a major part of our people and nations heritage and culture... but must we tolerate TRAIORS?

Why Israel Always Prevails

Indeed, even a day after having been blind-sided by the announcement that Israel would build 1600 new and exclusively Jewish housing units in East Jerusalem, Biden was still trying. In a prepared speech, he once again bragged, this time to a Tel Aviv university audience, that he was a Zionist and that, “Throughout my career, Israel has not only remained close to my heart but it has been the center of my work as a United States Senator and now as Vice President of the United States,” a statement that should raise questions about dual loyalties and which, curiously, was omitted from all reports on his speech in the US press. http://www.counterpunch.org/blankfort03192010.html

I totally agree with all of the above. And as more and more Americans, that is TRUE Americans, becomes aware of these facts you will begin to see a real Nationalist Revolution begin to take hold in this nation. The sooner the better!

In my opinion it should be outright illegal for any foreign nation to set up lobbying groups within a host nation. Think about it: Right now in the USA you have a foreign entity that holds dominance over how the USA deals in matters of foreign policy (Atleast in the Middle East). That is ludicrous on all levels. When a nation has its core power structure compromised to the extent that the United States currently has its power structure compromised then in all reality that nation in no longer sovereign. The United States is not a sovereign nation. Now I do not want to look like a conspiracy theorist, but the evidece would suggest that Washington DC is under the occupation of Alien control. The last powerful Empire that was consumed by these alien forces was the Soviet Union. At this point it is safe to say that in most respects the USA governemnt (as a institution) is no longer legitimate.

AIPAC of Raving Lunatics

Without regard for the severe economic devastation and loss of life that a war with Iran would create, Israel’s agents in the United States continue to aggressively stoke the fires of anti-Iranian rhetoric and mobilize their minions on the floor of the House. The Brzezinski-Soros machine failed in their attempt to effect regime change in Iran by way of a “color revolution” in the summer of 2009. This has only emboldened the Israeli lobby to pursue more drastic measures. There is only one card left for them to play before provoking conflicts that will most certainly catapult the United States into direct military action against the Islamic state. http://revoltoftheplebs.wordpress.com/2010/03/11/aipac-of-raving-lunatics/

This is what gets me. Israel having the audacity to protest Irans attempt to develop nuclear weapons all the while having them themselves and not allowing any inspectors into their country. Given the proxy wars the U.S. has been waging against their neighbors in the region can anyone really blame Iran. Israel would have the world that they are the underdog when they are the ones who has the strongest military in the region, and yet act like its they who are being all beat-up all the time. Hamas and other terrorist groups could kill 10 Jews every day with their hit and miss bombs for a year and it wouldn't come close to how many innocent muslims the Jews have killed. But then, I could really care less what happens to any of these semitic groups as long as it doesn't involve American citizens. We need to stop sending aid to any of these nations in the Middle-East and if the chinese or Russians wants to fill the void, than let them have the headaches, and the oil for that matter while we work towards fuel independence.

I don't see the problem. The inspectors go into Iran and Israel. In the unlikely event that they find nukes in either place, they confiscate, destroy, and or haul them away. Then they make random, unrestricted searches in the future to make sure no nuclear weapons are developed in the future. I mean, why would either country resist? Israel is on record as having no nukes, so they lose nothing, right?

AIPAC’s Origins

In the early 1960s, Sen. William J. Fulbright fought to force the American Zionist Council to register as agents of a foreign government. The council eluded registration by reorganizing as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. AIPAC has since become what Fulbright most feared: A foreign agent dominating American foreign policy while disguised as a domestic lobby. Israelis and pro-Israelis object when they hear that charge. How, they ask, can we so few wield such influence over so many? Answer: It’s all in the math. And in the single-issue advocacy brought to bear on US policy-making by dozens of “domestic” organizations that now compose the Israel lobby, with AIPAC its most visible force. http://archive.arabnews.com/?page=7&section=0&article=124829&d=24&m=7&y=2009
