Washington: The Illusion of Government

aa-Washington DC - tank in front of white house In a paroxysm of patriotic musing, I reflected that Washington is an insular, incestuous, inward-looking city, chiefly interested in itself, so politically inbred as to be in danger of hemophilia, out of touch with reality, having remarkably little understanding of or interest in the rest of the country or the world. Isn’t this wonderful? Inbreeding? By comparison with the Yankee Capital, West Virginians are on the outer limits of hybrid vigor. We had Bush I, a mediocrity but no worse, and later Bush II, in whom mediocrity would have been a welcome astonishment. We had Clinton the First, Bill, who was at least intelligent, then almost had Clinton II, who instead became Secretary of State, for which her only qualification was having been First Basilisk. Hillary lost the presidency to Barack Obama, whose only qualification was being black and reading a teleprompter well. Next we are likely to get Hillary anyway, and before that we almost had Kerry, whose only qualification was having married a pickle heiress. He is now Secretary of State, for no discernible reason. So it goes in the national sandbox. Dynasty, nepotism, simony, a small self-absorbed ruling class of no particular merit awarding itself crucial jobs for reasons of keeping itself in power. How long will that work? http://www.fredoneverything.net/Illusions.shtml

Washington Has Discredited America

aa-Washington DC - tank in front of white house Years ago when I described the George W. Bush regime as a police state, right-wing eyebrows were raised. When I described the Obama regime as an even worse police state, liberals rolled their eyes. Alas! Now I am no longer controversial. Everybody says it. According to the UK newspaper, The Guardian, the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, had an angry exchange with Obama in which Merkel compared Obama’s National Security Agency (NSA) with the East German Communist Stasi, which spied on everyone through networks of informers.
Merkel grew up in Communist East Germany where she was spied upon by the Stasi, and now that she has risen to the highest political office in Europe’s most powerful state, she is spied upon by “freedom and democracy” America. A former top NSA official, William Binney, declared that “We (the US) are now in a police state.” The mass spying conducted by the Obama regime, Binney says “is a totalitarian process.” Perhaps my best vindication, after all the hate mail from “super patriots,” who wear their ignorance on their sleeves, and Obama-worshipping liberals, whose gullibility is sickening, came from federal judge Richard Leon, who declared the Obama-sanctioned NSA spying to be “almost Orwellian.” As the American Civil Liberties Union realized, federal judge Leon’s decision vindicated Edward Snowden by ruling that the NSA spying is likely outside what the Constitution permits, “labeling it ‘Orwellian’–adding that James Madison would be ‘aghast.’” http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2013/12/19/washington-discredited-america-paul-craig-roberts/

For America, Life Was Cheap in Vietnam

To fight its war of attrition, the United States declared wide swaths of the South Vietnamese countryside to be free-fire zones where even innocent civilians could be treated as enemy forces. Artillery shelling, intended to keep the enemy in a state of constant unease, and near unrestrained bombing slaughtered noncombatants and drove hundreds of thousands of civilians into slums and refugee camps. Soldiers and officers explained how rules of engagement permitted civilians to be shot for running away, which could be considered suspicious behavior, or for standing still when challenged, which could also be considered suspicious. Veterans I’ve interviewed, and soldiers who spoke to investigators, said they had received orders from commanders to “kill anything that moves.” “The Oriental doesn’t put the same high price on life as does the Westerner,” Westmoreland famously said. “Life is plentiful, life is cheap in the Orient.” Having spoken to survivors of massacres by United States forces at Phi Phu, Trieu Ai, My Luoc and so many other hamlets, I can say with certainty that Westmoreland’s assessment was false. Decades after the conflict ended, villagers still mourn loved ones — spouses, parents, children — slain in horrific spasms of violence. They told me, too, about what it was like to live for years under American bombs, artillery shells and helicopter gunships; about what it was like to negotiate every aspect of their lives around the “American war,” as they call it; how the war transformed the most mundane tasks — getting water from a well or relieving oneself or working in the fields or gathering vegetables for a hungry family — into life-or-death decisions; about what it was like to live under United States policies that couldn’t have been more callous or contemptuous toward human life. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/10/opinion/for-america-life-was-cheap-in-vietnam.html?_r=0

Government Siege and National Rape

All Americans share the shame of the charade that pretends to be the Federal Government. The governance class operates in a manner that thinks the voice of the people is irrelevant. The current shutdown of public services is a selected con game run by “Federalies” thugs. This latest extortion racket intends to break the spirit of reform and sensible opposition. The crony capitalist takeover of the health care system only benefits the corporatists. The insurance companies stand to reap tribute from the masses, while the special interest friends of the Obama syndicate get exemptions. Make no mistake, the den of thieves that defend Obamacare, as the “law of the land” is a herd of habitual liars. http://batr.org/reactionary/100713.html

Storm Clouds Gathering

This past week, we learned that the IRS has targeted for additional scrutiny the tax exemption applications of groups with whose messages it disagrees. We also learned that the Department of Justice obtained the personal telephone records of hundreds of reporters and editors employed by the Associated Press without a search warrant issued by a judge. And during this past week we learned that the White House, the Department of State and the CIA all engaged in a conspiracy of disinformation so that the official version of events of what caused the murders of four Americans at our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, would not impair Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012. The common threads in all of this government secrecy and lying are a general rejection of government’s moral obligation to tell the truth, a disturbing yet brazen willingness to evade and avoid the restrictions the Constitution has deliberately built around government, and a glib admission that the government can do as it pleases so long as it can politically get away with it. http://original.antiwar.com/andrew-p-napolitano/2013/05/15/storm-clouds-gathering/#.UZTqBGuG6k4.email

Obama’s Secret Army and Why We Should Fear It

While the President didn’t create this hybrid of the military and CIA, it operates under his command. JSOC is made up of the most elite soldiers in the world, and they follow Obama’s orders. The funding, which is in the billions of dollars, comes from taxpayers (the actual amount is classified); and there is zero Congressional oversight. http://personalliberty.com/2013/05/15/obamas-secret-army-and-why-we-should-fear-it/

Why We Should Mistrust the Government

It should come as no surprise that President Obama told Ohio State students at graduation ceremonies last week that they should not question authority and they should reject the calls of those who do. He argued that “our brave, creative, unique experiment in self-rule” has been so successful that trusting the government is the same as trusting ourselves; hence, challenging the government is the same as challenging ourselves. And he blasted those who incessantly warn of government tyranny. http://original.antiwar.com/andrew-p-napolitano/2013/05/08/why-we-should-mistrust-the-government/#.UYuhn7A8bp8.email

The Drug War Devolves in Honduras

Neither the military nor the DEA will suggest that their efforts are futile or even consider pulling back from the region. They are institutionally committed to the notion that brute force will in fact, prevail over the illicit drug market. Ditto for the State Department and the Office of Drug Control Policy, which sets the intensity level for fighting the drug war under each administration. Chasing the trade won’t destroy it, but it will continue to have horrific unintended consequences — like strengthening corrupt governments that hurt their people and keeping the black market alive, feeding gangs and endless violence. Just this week, the Associated Press reported an “unprecedented surge” of unaccompanied children jumping our southern border to get into the U.S from Central America, and Honduras in particular. Many of them don’t make it, and are sent back to lives made untenable by brutal poverty, gangs, and neglect. http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-drug-war-devolves-in-honduras/

And I almost cried when I read that an unprecedented surge of unaccomanied children jumping our southern border to get into the U.S. and many don't make it. I cried for that in a few years these creatures will be gang banging, graffetting, stealing and selling dope to our children. What liberal wrote this piece? To even suggest that the 'War on Drugs' is real makes me shutter in disbelief and I just have to ask, where do they find such assinine-stupid writters? Sorry Admin. Is Washington Deaf as Well as Criminal?

Israel is a tiny insignificant state, created by the careless British and the stupid americans. It has no power except what its american protector provides. Yet, despite Israel’s insignificance, it rules Washington. When a resolution introduced by the Israel Lobby is delivered to Congress, it passes unanimously. If Israel wants war, Israel gets its wish. When Israel commits war crimes against Palestinians and Lebanon and is damned by the hundred plus UN resolutions passed against Israel’s criminal actions, the U.S. bails Israel out of trouble with its veto. The power that tiny Israel exercises over the “worlds’s only superpower” is unique in history. Tens of millions of “christians” bow down to this power, reinforcing it, moved by the exhortations of their “christian” ministers. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/08/16/is-washington-deaf-as-well-criminal/

Americans Are Being Prepared For Full Spectrum Tyranny

As with the oppressive regimes of the past, America has undergone a dramatic transformation, heavy with fear and ignorance. Our tradition of elections has been corrupted and negated by the false left/right paradigm, and the leaderships of both defunct parties now seek only to elevate a select minority of men bent on globalization. Our Constitutional liberties have been dismantled by legal chicanery. Our principles have been diluted by intellectual games of rationalism and moral relativism. Our country is ripe for conquest. Americans battle over whose side is most to blame; Democrat or Republican, while ironically being disenchanted with both entities. For some people, the thought of holding each party equally accountable, or accepting that they are essentially the same animal, never crosses their minds. While this irrelevant farce of a debate rages on, the true culprits plotting the demise of our Republic gain momentum, and implement policy initiatives that the public should and must take note of. In the past year alone, many blatant steps towards the Orwellian gulag have been openly administered. A carnival of peddlers and freaks and greasy popcorn overwhelms our senses, but the stench of this cheap circus still tickles our noses, and if we use our eyes for even a moment, certain dangerous trends reveal themselves. Here are just a few recent events that bear a dire warning; the ultimate assault on freedom in this nation grows near. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/guest-post-americans-are-being-prepared-full-spectrum-tyranny

Land of the Free Watch: U.S. Army Chief Says Military Will Be Used To Provide ‘Rapid Response Options’ and Address ‘Challenges in the United States Itself’

As the Department of Homeland Security and local law enforcement fuse into a single militarized policing apparatus for the whole of America through the use of massive surveillance warehouses, eye-in-the-sky drones and hybrid task forces, the U.S. military will continue to expand it’s role in domestic affairs, including in the event of natural disasters and terror related crises. So says Army Chief of Staff Raymond Odierno, who recently penned an article in Foreign Affairs, a propaganda mouthpiece published by the Council of Foreign Relations, an organization well known for having its hand in the economic, financial, social, military and political policies of every developed nation on Earth. http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/domestic-deployment-u-s-army-chief-says-military-will-be-used-to-provide-rapid-response-options-and-address-challenges-in-the-united-states-itself_06142012

Acknowledging the Arrival of Peak Government

We can now see that the Central State faces an impossible contradiction: to pursue its primary purpose of protecting the citizenry from predation, it is granted powers that enable it to evade its own self-limiting mechanisms. Private concentrations of wealth gain control over the State’s machinery of governance, and the resulting partnership of private and State elites suppress the mechanisms that were intended to limit private influence over State power. To enhance their own power, these elites increase the State’s reach until it dominates the entire political, social, and economic system. This sets up an inherently self-destructive feedback loop in which the State’s actions to protect its self-serving elites weaken both the State and the nation. The State’s inefficiencies pressure the nation’s output, even as the State increases its share of the national income to maintain its self-serving elites and quiet its potentially restive dependents. The more the State expropriates, the less surplus is left for productive investment, and so the nation’s output continues to decline. This dynamic creates a positive feedback loop (i.e., a death spiral) of higher taxes and lower investment in productive assets. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/acknowledging-arrival-peak-government

Why the Drug War Won’t Be Terminated

Central America has become the most dangerous place on Earth. The prevalence of organized crime, corruption, and inordinate rates of homicide has “metastasized,” as this new report from the Council on Foreign Relations describes it. The U.S. has flooded the region’s states with security assistance and aggressively pushed for a militarized approach to organized crime and drug trafficking. Together with prohibitionist drug policies which significantly increases profits for cartels, the “ironfisted” war-like approach has compounded the problem and intensified violence. Even as the report concedes that much about the dominant U.S. approach to Central America has “ultimately failed to ensure greater public security,” it recommends essentially that same approach, only tweaked. http://www.antiwar.com/blog/2012/04/03/why-the-drug-war-wont-be-terminated/

Forty years ago today, a Congressionally mandated commission on US drug policy did something extraordinary: they told the truth about marijuana. On March 22, 1972, the National Commission on Marihuana and Drug Abuse – chaired by former Pennsylvania Governor Raymond P. Shafer – recommended that Congress amend federal law so that the use and possession of cannabis would no longer be a criminal offense. State legislatures, the Commission added, should do likewise. http://lewrockwell.com/armentano-p/armentano-p52.1.html

Dawn of the Drones: The Realization of the Total Surveillance State

Imagine a robot hovering overhead as you go about your day, driving to and from work, heading to the grocery store, or stopping by a friend’s house. The robot records your every movement with a surveillance camera and streams the information to a government command center. If you make a wrong move, or even appear to be doing something suspicious, the police will respond quickly and you’ll soon be under arrest. Even if you don’t do anything suspicious, the information of your whereabouts, including what stores and offices you visit, what political rallies you attend, and what people you meet will be recorded, saved and easily accessed at a later date. It is a frightening thought, but you don’t have to imagine this scenario. We are only a few years away from the realization of this total surveillance society. http://www.blacklistednews.com/Dawn_of_the_Drones%3A_The_Realization_of_the_Total_Surveillance_State_/17969/0/0/0/Y/M.html

You Are Washington’s Collateral

Whenever you hear the phrase, “the full faith and credit of the United States government,” an image should pop into your head: a slave overseer in Alabama 1850, whip in hand, sitting on a horse at the edge of a cotton field. The field is filled with slaves, bent down, fingers scarred, dutifully picking cotton. You are not the overseer. You would be lucky to be his horse. The public buys government promises to pay future money in exchange for present votes. The trouble is, the promises are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government. That means the overseer will handle the payment system. http://lewrockwell.com/north/north1081.html

Meller, I don't care if LewRockwell was a member of the grayshirts 60 years ago. His half truths and disinformation still lead people down the path to more dead ends and more white guilt. Read the first piece a few times if you don't get it.1850 Alabama WHIP IN HAND sitting on a horse at the edge of a cotton field. The field is filled with slaves, bent down, FINGERS SCARRED DUITFULLY picking cotton. Heck I feel bad just reading that and my family was in Germany at that time. Maybe we should give these negroes another 100 trillion dollars and all the white women and guns they want. Oh wait that will still not be enough, for the negro just like the jew is never satisfied and they always want more. The writter knows what message and what sympathy he wants to incurr just by his opening lines. If his opening lines are false or misleading, well so goes the message. Now as for you, how do you know what I have and haven't done? You know absolutely nothing about me or my activities yet ASSume you do. Everyone believes just because someone has a site, writes about things and has spoke at meetings, that means they are at least doing something. Hell in that case Leon ( Lev Bronstien) Trotsky,Bela Cohen and Lazar Kaganovich were also doing something, and we should make note of that too. Now you also mentioned Lewrockwell's 30 years...30 years of him doing what? We are in 100X worse shape then we were 30 years ago, so why would anyone follow or read a loser that has been beating around the bush and playing pattycakes for so many years?

David K. Meller

Lew Rockwell, and Ron Paul, were trying to use the system of slavery typified by the antebellum South as an analog to the system of paper money debt pyramiding enslavement of all of us to the issuers of the said notes, courtesy of the FED. They were trying to demonstrate that EACH OF US is, in a sense, the human collateral for each of these notes, with the tax and legal tender system embedded in the criminal regime headquartered on the Patomac serving as the "collector of last resort". Ron Paul, and Lew Rockwell, are some of the VERY FEW Americans fighting this NWO, a system combining the worst features of both "capitalism" and "socialism"! They have, for the first time in nearly half a century, set a few obstacles in the way. What have YOU done, other than kvetch, whine, and crybaby about "jews" and "glibertarians", and "trolls", to help restore freedom and dignity to our society, or whatever is left of it? Would either of you two crybabies care to organize, manage, and grow a worldwide headquarters of Austrian Economics, libertarian scholarship, and private property advocacy like Lew Rockwell has done--almost singlehanded--for the past thirty years? Would you lazybones care to bust YOUR butts running for the Presidency, for the third time, with everyone from the lobotomyvision networks and polling organizations to the The two halfs of the single "major party", and the Council on Foreign Relations against you, slandering you and obstructing you at every opportunity? I didn't think so!! If you don't want to help Lew Rockwell in his remarkable educational and advocacy efforts; if you are just too lazy and stingy to help Ron Paul as he fights for ALL of us, at least keep out of their way! Let better men (and women) take up YOUR slack, and kwitcherbitchin'!!

TheSouthernNationalist

Seems jewrockwell needs to study history a little bit better. I see from this article it is anti Southern from the get go. jewrockwell, the yanks had slaves too, where do you think us Southerners got them from, Santa Claus? Study history before you write another stupid and inaccurate article.

Jungleboots

I'm shocked that Lewrockwell didn't start off with saying that the first slaveholders were nazi's. Lewrockwell once again shows he and the site is actually an anti-white disinformation site. More anti-white guilt right from the start by bringing up slavery. Was it mentioned that the negroes were captured in Afrika by the stronger negro tribes, most were butchered and the fitter ones were then sold into slavery. That of the 20 operating slave ships all were owned by jews. That a slave was a valueable piece of property and were treated quit well. A slave worked, was feed, clothed and had a house to live in. Today the negroes are clothed, feed and givena nice house but do not work.Oh and they rape, kill and rob on a daily bases. But this article was about debt and paying it back. The early american similarity that should have been used was that many Europeans came to america as indentured servants and had to work many years for free to pay off their debt. But if he used that scenario that would have not promoted the white guilt cult because people are supposed to believe that whites were handed everything on a silver platter, whites never had hardship of suffered and the negroes made america great as the whites got fat and rich from all their hard work. Lastly again this was about usury. How can you even bring up the word or practice without even mentioning the jew...Lewrockwell is a troll...

Land of the Free Watch: TSA Releases VIPR Venom on Tennessee Highways

by Ron Paul. If you thought the Transportation Security Administration would limit itself to conducting unconstitutional searches at airports, think again. The agency intends to assert jurisdiction over our nation’s highways, waterways, and railroads as well. TSA launched a new campaign of random checkpoints on Tennessee highways last week, complete with a sinister military-style acronym — VIPR — as a name for the program. As with TSA’s random searches at airports, these roadside searches are not based on any actual suspicion of criminal activity or any factual evidence of wrongdoing whatsoever by those detained. They are, in effect, completely random. So first we are told by the U.S. Supreme Court that American citizens have no 4th Amendment protections at border crossings, even when standing on U.S. soil. Now TSA takes the next logical step and simply detains and searches U.S. citizens at wholly internal checkpoints. The slippery slope is here. When does it end? How many more infringements on our liberties, our property, and our basic human rights to travel freely will it take before people become fed up enough to demand respect from their government? When will we demand that the government heed obvious constitutional limitations and stop treating ordinary Americans as criminal suspects in the absence of probable cause? http://original.antiwar.com/paul/2011/10/24/tsa-releases-vipr-venom-on-tennessee-highways/

The War on Drugs Has Become the War on the American People

So far this year, approximately 1,313,673 individuals have been arrested for drug-related offenses. Police arrested an estimated 858,408 persons for marijuana violations in 2009. Of those charged with marijuana violations, approximately 89 percent were charged with possession only. Moreover, since December 31, 1995, the U.S. prison population has grown an average of 43,266 inmates per year, with about 25 percent sentenced for drug law violations. The foot soldiers in the government’s increasingly fanatical war on drugs, particularly marijuana, are state and local police officers dressed in SWAT gear and armed to the hilt. These SWAT teams carry out roughly 50,000 no-knock raids every year in search of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. http://lewrockwell.com/whitehead/whitehead35.1.html

The main reason that there are so many blacks arrested for drugs, is because they're too stupid to avoid arrest. When you're out on a street corner in broad daylight, basically in the same spot, over and over again, it doesn't tale a Sherlock Holmes to know were to go and make their quota of drug arrest for the month. The reason blacks are convicted more so than whites for the same offense, is because whereby white deferents will come to court cleaned-up, and will at least put up a pretense of remorse for what they've done, blacks on the other hand, will come to court, and look like 'thugs', that is, if they're not dressed in state issued 'pumpkin suits' and will project a thuggish attitude, pissing off the Judge and prosecuter, as well as any jurors, that is if they're white, and then wonder why this is the case. Much of these disparities comes down to to 'Behavior', and the inherent differences in race.

JamesL

"blacks only account for 15% of the drug using population". What planet is this guy from? The only reason a disproportionate number of blacks are arrested for drug crimes is that a disproportionate number of blacks are using and selling illegal drugs. It has nothing to do with supposed racism.

Feds: States Have No Rights

Talk about a financial cost to taxpayers: the cost of incarcerating tens and hundreds of thousands of harmless, nonviolent drug users–not to mention the cost of investigating, arresting, arraigning, and trying them–literally dwarfs whatever the cost would be to let them live peacefully in society, or even to allow churches and special-needs ministries and hospitals to treat them. But a few things the “war on drugs” does accomplish is it serves as a major reason to increase federal funding for all kinds of Gestapo-like tactics at every level of government; it provides justification for governmental restrictions of civil liberties; and it is a major excuse for the exponential growth of the emerging police state. And dare I even mention the fact that it is now absolutely certain that persons (at the highest levels) and agencies within the federal government have been (and are) reaping gargantuan profits via illegal drug trafficking. http://newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin670.htm

Who Is Winning the War on Terrorism?

We’ve spent trillions fighting this losing battle, but more than money has been lost – we’ve forfeited our freedom. The barrage of legislation enacted since 9/11 that empowers our government to openly spy on us in ways that would have been inconceivable before has effectively abolished our old republic, and replaced it with something else – a misshapen, polyglot creature, half “democratic” and fully authoritarian, which cannot sustain itself economically, and – for all its vaunting about exercising “world leadership” – shows every sign of descending into an irreversible decline. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2011/09/11/who-is-winning-the-war-on-terrorism/

Being wise to the real perps of 9-11 almost as soon as the event took place, it didn't take me very long to realize that those same perps had multiple agendas behind their false flag attack on America. One of them was to move into high-gear with their lust to recreate their beloved USSR right here in North America - which meant that they intended to declare war on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights - since those things stood in the way of their creation of a totalitarian police state. The Patriot Act, over 400 pages, was pre-written and ready to go - and was rammed through Congress without a single piece of greasy scum bothering to read it or debate it's contents. Those anthrax letters, I believe, were timed to coincide with the phony 'urgency' to pass that Patriot Act - because if we all remember, Congress began to refuse to open any mail from their constituents, and that effectively severed the communications between the citizens and their Congressional representatives. Its past time to face the truth, America. Our nation has been hijacked by mass murdering, control-freak, gangsters and evil criminal psychopaths. Dangerous psychopaths. Remember what happened when this same ethnic tribe seized control over Russia in 1917. 65 million plus White Russians were slaughtered. And, if anyone doubts for a minute that these demonic rats aren't itching to resume where their ethnic ancestors left off when they ran the USSR, then I have a bridge to sell you.

The Federal Government Declares War on the Nation

The beltway bottom feeders know just how to scare their pudden-head constituents. With the complicity of the corporate controlled media, the task of getting away with murder has been elevated to a supreme political art form. ‘Pols’ can fool some of the public with all the false causes and bogus reasons for the dysfunctional federal government, but can they escape the distrust in their deal making skills, that never resolve any substantive issues? Even the current New York Times and CBS poll, cannot hide the disgust with an 82% disapproval sentiment.
This level of discontent is expected by anyone who understands the decade’s long destruction of the fundamental nature of the “federalism” form of the separation of powers principle. http://batr.org/autonomy/080711.html

Compromise, D.C.-Style

With a last-minute debt deal reached, I’m reminded of two holy words in Washington: “compromise” and “bipartisanship.” It’s amazing that the political elite have so twisted the English language as to lend virtue to these terms. In Washington, these words hold intrinsic value… similar to how “truth” and “honesty” do outside D.C. Unfortunately for the American public, Washington compromises have been and will continue to be the death knell of the U.S. economy – and particularly the free market. http://lewrockwell.com/vuk/vuk37.1.html

Metaphors for a Post-Federal America

Today's U.S. Idiocracy is on the way out

As we watch the Washington D.C. megalith begin to crumble, and make no mistake, we are watching this today – with its frantic decades-long construction of government facilities and monuments, combined with an even more frantic last ditch effort to control what individuals do, earn, say, and where and how they travel. And, might I remind you, all of this construction, of monuments, prisons, bases and office space (2.2 billion square feet for the U.S. military alone) and all these rules and regulations cost lots of money to be eternally loaned by we the people and from interested investors. Funny, I don’t recall signing a contract or even being asked. Perhaps that what they mean by patriotism: my country’s spending, right or wrong. http://lewrockwell.com/kwiatkowski/kwiatkowski270.html

Government Can’t Be Trusted to Police Itself

So many of the words and warnings delivered by America’s Founding Fathers are appropriate for today. Consider this sage counsel from America’s first and greatest President, George Washington: “Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” I was reminded of these words when I read the following report out of the State of Indiana. http://newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin650.htm

The Unabomber in Washington

The more I think of the processes of isolated thinking, the more I am convinced that such a restricted mindset precisely describes life in Washington, D.C. With the Beltway helping to isolate this city from the rest of the country – or world – the practitioners of a realpolitik fashioned from shared basic premises can talk to one another with the same self-assurance attending the inner conversation every neurotic conducts within himself. Who is to disagree? Where is there to be heard a discouraging word? Oh, sure, a Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich, or one or another dissenting voice, may try to disrupt the dominant single-mindedness of purpose. Even the resident of a remote shack in Montana must have heard occasional words of peace and reason during his stay. What passes for debate in Washington sounds more like Lilliputians arguing over which end of a boiled egg to be opened than it does a morally principled or analytically sound inquiry preceding governmental action. Nor do establishment news flacks – whether of electronic or ink persuasion – exhibit any disposition to raise questions that would appeal to intelligent minds. Never has the metaphor of rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic been more apropos. http://www.lewrockwell.com/shaffer/shaffer233.html

Why Government Can’t Be Reformed

As long as you do not live under a rock, you know that the Federal Government prances along on its merry way of central control, no matter who is in office. The traits of arrogance and aloofness are a prerequisite to retain your employment. This pattern of myopic understanding of the precepts of federalism, separation of powers or the nature of a public servant is the primary aptitude of the professional political class. Whether a lowly intern, a career civil employee, a chairman of a Congressional committee or the head of bureaucratic agency; the steamroller of public destruction buries common citizens under the weight of oppressive dictates. Even if you ignore the politics, you cannot dismiss the debt. The foremost threat to any remote possibility of reform is a burden that is beyond repayment. Most have seen the national debt ticker of the $14 plus trillion owed. That amount is a mere drop in the bucket of the total obligations owed because of past federal government promises. http://etherzone.com/2011/sart021611.shtml

A3P Chairman’s Day in the Capitol

William Johnson

These past few days have been busy ones, full of opportunities to lobby for white interests at the very highest levels of American leadership. I spoke at length (in person and on the telephone) with two presidential campaign managers, three subordinate campaign managers, one U.S. Congressman and eight U.S. Senators. In some of the conversations, we talked at length about the future of the white race, and in some of the conversations, I was only able to make a short statement.

Russia, Realism, and the WikiLeaks Factor

The WikiLeaks cables continue to bear fruit, and what a golden harvest it is: the US spying on the world’s diplomats (and even collecting their bank card numbers!); the US hiding behind the rather thin skirts of the Yemeni “air force” as we bomb and strafe their citizens; the US letting the Israeli Mafia into the country without so much as a by-your-leave; the US standing passively by as their Iraqi sock puppets torture and murder detainees. And now this. http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2010/12/30/russia-realism-and-the-wikileaks-factor/

Slouching Towards Tyranny

The state of civil liberties and national security in the United States is alarming. In the American Empire, the former are routinely crippled or lacerated in the false name of the latter. Trust in government plunges. Dangers are magnified manifold to wound constitutionally venerated freedoms. International terrorist suspects who have never attempted to kill an American are treated as existential threats to U.S sovereignty. Predator drones employed off the battlefield in Afghanistan, Pakistan, or Yemen are spawning more enemies than are killed. Habeas corpus is suspended. Military commissions denuded of due process and which combine judge, jury, and prosecutor in a single branch of government are substituted for independent civilian courts. Time-honored privacy rights are trampled. Torture or first cousin enhanced interrogation techniques are endorsed. Congressman Peter King (R. N.Y.), slated for the chairmanship of the Homeland Security Committee, insists that prosecutions of alleged international terrorists in civilian courts are intolerable because guilty verdicts are not guaranteed. The worst violations are dared by few, willed by more, but tolerated by virtually all. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bruce-fein/slouching-towards-tyranny_b_795066.html

What in blazes does Peter King being "jewish" have to do with anything! believe me, Homeland Security would be just as rotten even if Peter King never existed--or for that matter, even if jews never existed! Maybe you might suggest a non-Jewish boss of the bureaucratic bodyguard of that Washington DC regime of usurpers and gangsters instead? Would John McCain, George Bush II, Rudolph Giuliani, or ANY gentile who represents this government's answer to the Nazi Gestapo, the Roman Praetorian Guard, or Stalin's NKVD be better for us American citizens? I didn't think so!- PEACE AND FREEDOM!!-David K. Meller

Peter King... Isn't he Jewish? If so, that would explain a lot. He recently called for Asange's head on a plater (figuratively speaking, of course). If he is to become head of the Homeland Security Committee look out for a lot more bad things coming to a neighborhood near you.

the non-politician kind of stink bug

Shaped like shields and armed with an odor, dime-size brown bugs are crawling into area homes over windowsills, through door crevices and between attic vents in such numbers that homeowners talk about drowning them in jars of soapy water, suffocating them in plastic bags or even burning them with propane torches. http://post-gazette.com/pg/10268/1090205-115.stm

Free Kenny: An Open Letter from a Federal Prison

Kenny asked that this open letter written from prison be made public. Please feel free to republish.

Dear Folk and Family,

Greetings from my somber tomb. In two weeks I reach 6 months if incarceration. Half a year of my life lost due to a network of cowards and saboteurs. The Government has shown and demonstrated pure malevolence towards me while leaving my life asunder. They will not stop my ascension back up to living and leading a productive life once again. No matter what, my fealty shall never be abated.

I would like to thank everyone right now for demonstrating Pure and True benevolence. From those who continue to write me letters and keep me

The Feds Don’t Like Competition

There are signs that Washington – incompetent as it may be in business and economics – is beginning to feel real hunger pangs. Either it will contract willingly, freeing up both capital and faith for future production and prosperity, or it will attempt to identify, consume and destroy any remaining value it can find at home and abroad. http://www.lewrockwell.com/kwiatkowski/kwiatkowski254.html

It’s Up to the States Now

The only chance we have to maintain and defend liberty in these United States is for free and independent states to rise in righteous indignation against the onslaught of federal tyranny that is rapidly destroying our republic. America–as one nation–is beyond redemption. The federal government is too arrogant, too malevolent, and too drunk with power to ever allow itself to be returned to the principles of federalism and constitutionalism. And this is true no matter which of the two political parties is in charge. http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin608.htm

Preparing for World War III, Targeting Iran

Humanity is at a dangerous crossroads. War preparations to attack Iran are in “an advanced state of readiness.” Hi tech weapons systems including nuclear warheads are fully deployed. This military adventure has been on the Pentagon’s drawing board since the mid-1990s. First Iraq, then Iran according to a declassified 1995 U.S. Central Command document. Escalation is part of the military agenda. While Iran, is the next target together with Syria and Lebanon, this strategic military deployment also threatens North Korea, China and Russia. http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=20403

I agree that humanity is at a dangerous crossroad. I believe that in the minds of most people today, the death of literally tens of millions of people in war and revolutions are things of the 20th century, just rehashed old black and white newsreels and documentaries, that one sees only on the History Channel, but those times are returning because this generation has flunked History, right along with almost every other lesson they should have learned a long time ago. And one of those lessons is that Communism is still with us, marxism, socialim, Diversity, by whaever name you wish to call it has made its enroads in our society and is becoming more and more visable to even the most blind and ignorant fools out there, and it's because of this that we'll see some horrific times to come that some of us will be able to tell our great grand children, and there will be many many more who won't be left alive to tell the tale. Modernity and so-called progress hold no sway over human nature.

Will Worsening Conditions Lead to Second American Revolution

The Internet is a large-scale version of the “Committees of Correspondence” that led to the first American Revolution — and with Washington’s failings now so obvious and awful, it may lead to another.

People are asking, “Is the government doing us more harm than good? Should we change what it does and the way it does it?”

Pruning the power of government begins with the imperial presidency.

Too many overreaching laws give the president too much discretion to make too many open-ended rules controlling too many aspects of our lives. There’s no end to the harm an out-of-control president can do.

Overwhelming Majority of Americans Say Government Doesn’t Have Consent of the Governed

In his new book, In Search of Self-Governance, Scott Rasmussen observes that the American people are “united in the belief that our political system is broken, that politicians are corrupt and that neither major political party has the answers.” He adds that “the gap between Americans who want to govern themselves and the politicians who want to rule over them may be as big today as the gap between the colonies and England during the 18th century.” http://www.lewrockwell.com/pr/rasmussen-23-percent-govt-has-consent.html

I find myself thinking more and more about the American Revolution and 1776, over the last decade or so. In that revolution, the sleazy tyrants who were most responsible for trying to subject our European WHITE ancestors to tyranny and oppression - sat on their prodigious butts in England, with a huge Atlantic ocean between themselves and the patriots who fought the American Revolution. This next go around, those sleazy tyrants who are most responsible for trying to resurrect the Jewish Bolshevik Communist USSR, right here in North America - are not going to have a big ocean between themselves and the patriots who will be fighting the Second American revolution. Unless, of course, when the Second American revolution begins - they all make a mad dash for the Atlantic ocean and start swimming for Tel Aviv. I wonder if they can succeed in putting enough water between themselves and those who will be wanting to capture them and put them on trial for treason? Or, will the sharks wind up with a big feast? Treason trials and convictions and capital punishment, or being eaten by sharks. That's a fitting choice for tyrants, no matter who or where they are.

The Last Days of D.C.

It is plain that no U.S. administration of any party is going to build a wall along our nation’s southern border. “Can’t be done,” our leaders tell us, shaking their heads in mock despair, while feeling under the desk for the envelopes full of benjamins being passed from cheap-labor lobbyists and race-grievance shills. “Too much border . . . mountainous terrain . . . impossible to patrol . . .” They are of course lying, but I can’t bring myself to care much any more. So far as buildings walls is concerned, a wall along the southern border would in any case be my second priority. If I had my druthers, and there was a 40-foot concrete wall to be built, I’d build it around Washington, D.C. http://www.takimag.com/article/forget_mexico_lets_wall_off_d.c/

Anybody remember the movie "Coneheads"? Yeah, I know.. but there was an INS guy in that movie who had the idea to put collars on illegals and send them back to Mexico, and if they tried to cross the border again their heads would explode, like in "The Running Man", Not a bad idea.

Wicked Warren

The ultimate solution is a moat the width of the border. Stock it with alligators. A high fence topped by razor wire 50 yards distant from the moat will deliniate an area copiously planted with land mines. Any wetback who makes it through will receive a $5,000 monthly welfare check and food stamps for life.

Naturally, many people in America are very angry at yet another act of egregious usurpation by the federal government. But what else were these people thinking would happen? The federal government has already proven what it is, how it operates and the means it uses to accomplish its goals. The U.S. has walked in steady strides down the road of tyranny and oppression for many, many years, under both Democrat and Republic leadership. Washington’s Response to a Snow Storm

If you need any proof that government planning fails look at how our nation’s Capitol copes with snow. When snow tops two inches, panic sets in. The news stations announce that “all non-essential government employees” are on “liberal leave” and may bolt from the bureaucracy to their suburban homes. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? Why are taxpayers footing the bill for “non-essential employees?” Why not let them stay at home and save the taxpayer the expense of their unnecessary labors? I'm frankly amazed that more than 2 or 3 percent of white Americans have apparently torn their eyeballs off of their electronic sewage dispensing and race mixing-white genocide promoting devices long enough to even notice that our Jewish masters are attempting to recreate their beloved old USSR, right here on the North American continent. However, knowing how miserably short the attention span is of most white people these days, all the enemy controlled mainstream media has to do to distract them back to their zombie state is to feed them another OJ-type event, whereupon most will promptly go back to sleep. But, then, there are those enormous gun and ammunition sales figures to factor into this phenomenon, right?
